Four people killed after starving Palestinians burst into UN food warehouse in Gaza
Four people have died as thousands of Palestinians burst into a United Nations warehouse in Gaza, tearing away sections of the building’s metal walls in a desperate attempt to find food.
Two people were fatally crushed and two others died of gunshot wounds after the crowd forced its way into the World Food Programme warehouse in Deir al-Balah on Wednesday afternoon, health officials said.
It was not immediately clear if Israeli forces, private contractors or others had opened fire. A Red Cross field hospital said injuries from the scene included women and children with gunshot wounds.
Footage showed throngs of people shouting and pushing into the building while others threw bags of flour and boxes into the crowd.
We should be offended, but not surprised by this latest obscenity.

That Israel is using these food drops as a means to gain intelligence over the wretched Gaza’s still alive only adds enormous insult to grievous bodily harm.

The BBC reports that 9,000 trucks loaded with aid are being prevented by the Israelis from entering Gaza, even more aid is stacked up in warhouses in Al Arish and Port Said in Egypt. Even more aid is being held up in Jordan.
When the US and Israel deliberately starve 2 million people to force them off their land and then present them with a tiny amount for their needs, not even live gunfire will deter them from trying to get food for their starving families.
Have they forgotten the scenes of the boy with his cat, the family with their possesions piled on a hand cart. an old lady in a walker, babies pushed in prams or carried in their parents arms, of young men scaling dangerously tall steel pylons along the route to survey the epic biblical like scene.
