38 killed — 204 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes as well as medical and other facilities resulted in the death of 38 residents and the wounding of 204. Civil Defence crews retrieved one body from under a bomb-damaged building, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 53,977. The total wounded is now at least 122,966. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attacks – home invasions and occupation – refugee camps: Tulkarem – Israeli forces continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, invading homes and occupying more for military use.
Israeli Army attack: Nablus – 18:00–22:55, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, raided and patrolled the village of Qaryut.
Israeli Army – forced personal home demolition: Jerusalem – evening, the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Ahmed Khalil al-Abbasi, to destroy his home in the Jabal al-Mukabir neighbourhood – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
Home – invasions – 2 taken prisoner: Tubas – 04:00-07:50, Israeli forces raided the city, taking prisoner two people, as well as the villages of Tayasir and Aqaba, invading a number of homes.
Home invasion: Nablus – 02:45, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Beit Amrin and invaded a house.
Israeli police and settler mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army violence – 2 hospitalised: Jericho – 11:35, Israeli troops beat–up and hospitalised two people, Fayeq Kamal Fayeq Hanoun and Fathi Hammad Fathi Nasser, near the village of Fasayil.
Israeli Army – 1 taken prisoner – population–control: Bethlehem – 11:20, Israeli forces took prisoner a man, Yousef Muhammad Marzouq Salah, when he reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.
Occupation settler land-grab: Jericho – 11:35, Israeli Occupation settlers seized and ploughed land, in the Shallal area of al-Auja, and installed an irrigation network.
Occupation settler land-grab: Hebron – 20:35, Israelis, from the Avigail Occupation settlement, erected electricity supply poles on land in the Umm al-Shaqhan area opposite Tel Ma’in, all the way back to their settlement.
