38 killed — 204 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 38 residents and the wounding of 204. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is at least 53,939 and the total wounded is now at least 122,797. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured,numbers more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – and physical violence: Ramallah – 19:05– 21:00, armed Israeli Occupation settlers, firing live ammunition, stormed a residential area in Deir Dibwan, beating–up and injuring five residents.
Israeli settler attack: Ramallah – evening, armed Israeli settlers, firing live ammunition, invaded a residential area on the eastern outskirts of Turmusaya.
Israeli Army attack – refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued their storming of the city as well as the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack: Jenin – 13:20, Israeli forces opened fire towards people, near the entrance to al-Yamoun.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions and occupation: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, invading homes and occupying more of them for military use.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Tulkarem – 22:50, Israeli troops opened fire from the local Annexation Wall, adjacent to the town of Zeita, wounding a man, Asad Harsha, as he made his way to work across the Green Line.
Israeli Army attack – 2 (one of them a youngster) wounded : Nablus – 07:05, the Israeli military, firing live ammunition, stormed the city, wounding–16–year–old Fajr Iyad Al-Qutb as well as one other person: Mujahid Saad Tariq Akoub.
Israeli Army attack – complicity with settler arson attack: Salfit – 00:50–02:00, Israeli soldiers opened fire towards people trying to defend themselves from raiding Occupation settlers, who were attacking homes near the entrance to the town of Bruqin, including setting fire to a house.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Hebron – 12:30, Israeli Occupation forces, in the Old City, opened fire on, wounded and then took prisoner, a man suffering from mental disorders: Ahmed Hassan Barakat Noman Al-Sharif.
Home invasions and population–control: Nablus – 22:05–03:30, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Beit Furik, searched two homes and forced the shops to close.
Israeli Army vandalism and economic sabotage: Tulkarem – 11:55, Israeli Occupation forces demolished a number of greenhouses in the city’s Dhnaba suburb.
Israeli Army population–control: Tulkarem – 02:00, Israeli forces took prisoner two people when they reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.
Israeli Army stun grenades and population–control: Nablus – 13:15, Israeli forces fired stun grenades from the al-Murabba’a checkpoint, near the entrance to the village of Tal, towards vehicles waiting to pass on both sides.
Israeli Army vandalism and economic sabotage: Jericho – 10:50, the Israel Army raided the Arab Al-Maliha community’s Bedouin Al-Kaabneh School in north-west Jericho and removed the Palestinian flag from its roof.
Israeli Army destruction – pastoral sabotage: Jericho – morning, Israel troops demolished a shelter for sheep and a water-storage tank in the Arab Al-Maliha community.
Israeli Army vandalism: Hebron – 16:00, the Israel military bulldozed land, opposite the entrance to the Nabi Yunis area of Halhul.
Occupation settler land-grab: Ramallah – evening, Israeli Occupation settlers seized a strip of privately-owned land and began building a 500metre-long road through the village of al-Mughayyir, to join their settlement outpost with the Allon bypass road.
Occupation settler violence: Jerusalem – 20:30, Israeli Occupation settlers terrorised the Bedouin community in the Sidra area, between Mikhmas village and the Ma’ale Mikhmas settlement.
Occupation settler arson – agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 10:45, Israeli settlers invaded Sinjil town farmland and set fire to crops.
Occupation settler violence and Israeli Army complicity: Tubas – 16:00, Occupation settlers, supported by Israeli troops, invaded pastoral land in the Nab’ Ghazal Spring area of the North Jordan Valley and assaulted a man, Luay Ali Abu Mohsen, while the Israeli Army took prisoner two residents who had tried to defend themselves from the settler violence.
Occupation settler terrorism: Tubas – 16:50, Israeli settlers invaded the Ein al-Hilweh area of the North Jordan Valley and terrorised residents, patrolling threateningly between family homes.
Occupation settler arson – agricultural sabotage: Qalqiliya ~ 15:00, Israelis, from the Gilad Occupation settlement, set fire to and destroyed 15 olive trees on agricultural land lying between the village of Far’ata and the settlement.
Occupation settler population–control: Qalqiliya ~ 22:40, Israelis, from the Kedumim Occupation settlement, prevented the passage of vehicles at the nearby roundabout on the main Qalqiliya~Nablus road.
Occupation settler arson – pastoral sabotage: Nablus – 13:40, an Israeli settler, driving a vehicle in the al-Zawiya area of Aqraba ,assaulted a shepherd, Fadi Bani Fadl, and tried to run over his sheep.
Occupation settler arson – agricultural sabotage: Nablus – Israelis, from the Shavei Shomron Occupation settlement on the Plain of Sebastia, set fire to wheat crops on approximately four hectares of land.
Occupation settler stoning: Salfit – 21:45, Occupation settlers stoned vehicles passing the tent they had set up on land, near the western entrance to Bruqin.
Occupation settler vandalism – terrorism: Jericho – 11:30, Israeli settlers vandalised and destroyed a water pipeline, near the al-Auja Waterfall, and terrorised residents.
Occupation settler terrorism: Bethlehem – 18:35–21:35, Israeli Occupation settlers raided the Kisan village Deir Alla area, terrorising residents and threatening to set fire to a home.
