Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers
of dead and injured
Victims 29 April – 30 April 2025:
35 killed — 109 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 35 residents and the wounzding of 109. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023 is at least 52,400 and the total wounded is at least 118,014. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, continued storming the city as well as the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions and beatings-up: Tulkarem – Israeli Occupation forces continued storming the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, opening fire while raiding homes, severely beating-up three residents and taking prisoner one persons.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Tulkarem – 22:20, the Israeli Army shot and wounded one person, Munji Anwar Rashid Al-Zar’i, from a position on the Annexation Wall near the village of Nazlat Issa, as he was crossing the Green Line on his way to work. The wounded man was hospitalised.
Home invasions: Ramallah – 00:45–07:10, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Deir Dibwan and searched a number of homes.
Home invasions: Ramallah – 02:05–07:10, Israeli forces raided the Jalazoun refugee camp and searched several houses.
Home invasions in refugee camp: Jericho – 10:00-14:30, the Israeli Army raided the Ein Sultan refugee camp, searching a number of homes.
Home invasions: Nablus – 23:15–01:45, Israeli soldiers raided the city and searched several houses.
Home invasion: Bethlehem – dawn, Israeli troops raided the village of Wadi Fukin and invaded a house.
Home invasions – robbery and population–control: Hebron – 10:35, the Israeli military raided the town of Idhna, invading several homes and interrogating two residents: Amani Muhammad al-Jiyawi and Sanaa Muhammad Ikhlawi. The Israeli military also stole a motor vehicle and robbed another householder of gold jewellery as well as cash,s to the equivalent value of over $US 38,000.
Israeli Army population control: Jerusalem – On April 28, 2025, the minister in the Occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, issued an order to close the offices of the Jerusalem Fund and Endowment for a period of six months, under the pretext that it is carrying out work for the Palestinian National Authority. This is a false allegation, as the nature of the work of the Fund and Endowment is solely within the framework of social, humanitarian and charitable work, to help enable the people of Jerusalem to live with dignity in the face of Occupation oppression.

A Gaza-bound activist aid ship caught fire and issued an SOS after what it claimed was a drone attack off the coast of Malta in international waters in the early hours of Friday.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC), which is campaigning to end Israel’s blockade of Gaza, told CNN activists were aboard its ship carrying humanitarian aid when the alleged attack happened just after midnight local time.
“There is a hole in the vessel right now and the ship is sinking,” Yasemin Acar, the coalition’s press officer, told CNN by phone from Malta on Friday morning.
The ship, the Conscience, was heading to Malta, where a large contingent of activists were due to board before it departed for Gaza, but had not made it into port, the group said.M.
