Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers
of dead and injured
Victims 11 April – 12 April 2025:
21 killed — 64 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 21 residents and the wounding of 64 others, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 50,933 with the total wounded at least 116,045. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 is at least 92and, that of those injured, is more than 209. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – population–control: Ramallah – 11:20, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Kobar, ordering people not to go to prayer in the Daak area,where a settler invader had previously set up camp and opened fire towards people, setting fire to the settlers‘ tent.
Israeli Army attack – refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli forces continued storming into and opening fire towards people in both the city and the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions – demolition – population–control: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued storming the city of Tulkarm as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, opening fire while raiding several homes and using explosives to destroy a home. More residents, including shop proprietors, were forced to evacuate.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Nablus – 10:45, one person was wounded when Israeli Occupation forces, in the Jabal Sabih area of Beita, opened fire on people protesting against settler land-grabs.
Israeli Army attack on homes: Nablus – 23:20, armed Israelis, from the Itamar Occupation settlement, opened fire on homes in Jabal al-Judu’, near Beit Furik.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Bethlehem – 21:50–23:55, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Fajjar, wounding a resident: Ahmed Mahmoud Thawabteh.
Israeli Army mosque violation and population–control: Jerusalem – 12:00, Israeli Occupation forces took prisoner a journalist, Nadine Jafar Jaber, as she was leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque and issued a ban on a preacher, Sheikh Muhammad Salim Muhammad Ali, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for a week and to report for interrogation.
Israeli Army population–control: Jerusalem – 17:30, Israeli forces took prisoner a mother, Hanan Muhaisen, and her son, Haroun Muhammad Muhaisen, in the village of al-Issawiya.
Israeli Army population–control: Tulkarem – 11:00, the Israeli Army took prisoner two people, Ibrahim Nour al-Din Ibrahim Shehadeh and Moataz Muhammad Musa Amer, when they reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.
Israeli Army robbery and agricultural sabotage: Nablus – 13:55, Israeli troops seized a bulldozer from a farmer, Saeed Muhammad Abd al-Fattah Zidan, while he was working his land in the town of Qabalan.
Israeli Army robbery and population–control: Jericho – 23:00, the Israeli military detained three people, Muhammad Hassan Alian, Amir Muhammad Alian and Ibrahim Muhammad Alian, at the northern entrance to the city, robbing Ibrahim of cash, worth approximately $US1000.
Occupation settler violence: Bethlehem – 15:50, Occupation settlers, accompanied by Israeli troops, invaded al-Minya village and terrorised villagers cultivating the farmland.
