40 killed — 146 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes as well as medical and other facilities resulted in the deaths of 40 residents and the wounding of 146 others, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 50,886 with the total wounded at least 115,875. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 is at least 92and, that of those injured, is more than 210. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded in refugee camp: Ramallah – 05:20, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the al-Amari refugee camp, wounding one resident: Ghassan Abu Al-Wafa.

Israeli Army attack – on refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, continue storming the city as well as the refugee camp.

Israeli Army attack – homes destroyed with explosives: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, continued storming the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, using explosives to destroy two homes in the refugee camp.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded – home demolished: Tulkarem – 05:30, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition and wounding one resident, stormed the village of Shufa and demolished a house.

Israeli Army attack – 10 wounded – 14-year-old girl beaten–up – homes invaded and evacuated: Nablus – the Israeli military, continuing its storming of the city as well as the Balata refugee camp, wounded another ten residents and beat–up five others, including a 14-year-old girl, while raiding homes and forcing families to evacuate them. Eight more residents were taken prisoner. The ten wounded in the refugee camp are: Kayed Khamis Abu Amer, Moatasem Nassar Aisha, Amir Louay Abu Hamed, Hani Rami Akouba, Amir Imad Salman, Khaled Hassan Alian, Laith Ahmed Hotari, Izz al-Din Muhammad Kalbouna, Omar Nasser Ayran, and Jihad Salah Jarmi. The five beaten and injured are: 14 year old Sabreen Amer Hamada, Ali Al-Sayed Hamada, Abdul Karim Muhammad Abu Suris, Hassan Hisham Saruji and Ayoub Mahmoud Fayyad.

Israeli Army attack – home invasion – 3 beaten-up and hospitalised: Jericho – 18:50–22:35, Israeli soldiers, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of Fasayil and invaded house, severely beating-up and hospitalising three residents: Omar Muhammad Taamra, Yazin Awad Taamra and Muhammad Faleh Nawawra.

Home invasions: Jerusalem – 23:00–01:20, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of al-Eizariya and invaded three homes.

Home invasions: Tubas – 20:15–03:40, Israeli forces, raiding the villages of Tayasir and Aqaba, searched four houses.
