Trump blinks on tariffs – he is the damage of future Catastrophic Climate change manifesting in the present

There is no art in his deal, just a brutal sadism that demands submission.

Extraordinary scenes of chaos this morning as Trump increases Tariffs on China to 125% but paused the remaining tariffs (the 10% is staying) for 90 days.

Trump has blinked after Market carnage but his addiction to chaos and the need to maintain chaos leaves the markets moving massive amounts just on his mood.

The misplaced euphoria his decision to pause generated on the Markets is the exact same misplaced euphoria his election produced!

This is insanity.

He is purposely driving the global economy into ruin while starting a full blown trade war with China.

Trump is the damage of future Catastrophic Climate change manifesting in the present.

We are only 13 weeks into his 4 year reign of terror.

  1. This is 100% “Art of the Deal” stuff. Every country is on a deadline now to renegotiate a more equitable trade deal with the US within a 3 month window to avoid their tariff (andthey now know what it’s going to be). It’s extremely clever piece of manoeuvring. Cherry on top: Trump has now made China a pariah, since they are the only country who still got the tariff. This is pure Trumpian deal making (including brutally punishing those who try and call out what they think is a bluff like Xi did).

  2. Art of the Deal nonsense, more like six times bankrupt financial moron and wannabe gangster gaming the system. Have to feel for the sane Americans.

  3. Hey look on the bright side and look at the possible effects on the odious Nick Mowbrays business model of spewing out vast quantities of plastic crap into the environment

    Agreed RC.
The United State Military take an oath to defend the United States against all enemies, foreign and (drum roll) DOMESTIC.
I keep wondering when the US Military is going to earn its pay and stage an intervention.
