Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers of dead and injured
Victims 28–29 March 2025:
25 killed — 70 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes on homes as well as many facilities resulted in the death of 25 residents and the wounding of 70 others. Civil Defence crews retrieved one more body from under bomb-damaged buildings, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 50,277. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 is at least 93 and, that of those injured, is more than 211.

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attacks – population–control: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continue to storm the city and the refugee camp, blocking all entrances to both communities.
Israeli Army attacks – 3 taken prisoner: Tulkarem – Israeli forces continue storming the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, opening fire towards people and taking prisoner three people.
Israeli Army attacks – 1 wounded: Qalqiliya – 07:30, the Israeli Army opened fire from the Annexation Wall adjacent to the city, wounding and hospitalising a man: Ihab Hisham Daoud.
Israeli Army attacks – 1 wounded: Nablus – 09:35-14:45, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, raided the town of Beita, shooting and wounding a resident: Fares Hussein Hilal Bani Shamsah.
Israeli Army attacks – 3 wounded: Hebron – 23:15, firing live ammunition, the Israeli military stormed into Beit Ummar, wounding three people: one woman and two men.
Home invasions: Nablus – 22:50–01:15, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Burqa and invaded five homes.
Israeli Army mosque violation and population–control: Jerusalem – 20:30, the Israeli Occupation issued orders, banning two news reporters, Firas Al-Debs and Saif Al-Qawasmi as well as oneother person, from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque for various periods.
Israeli Army mosque violation and population–control: Jerusalem – Occupation forces also imposed strict restrictions on the entry of worshippers coming from the rest of the West Bank for the fourth Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, as they arrived at the Qalandiya military checkpoint and the 300 other checkpoints separating Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
Israeli Army violence – 1 injured: Tulkarem – 18:30, in the area between the towns of Bal’a and Deir al-Ghusun, Israeli soldiers beat–up and severely injured a man: Hamza Muhammad Najib Ajouli.
Israeli Army violence – 2 injured: Nablus – 01:15, Israeli troops beat–up and hospitalised two people, Mamoun Nidal Subh and his brother, Ayman, as they were passing on the main Nablus to Tulkarem road.
Israeli Army assault supporting armed settlers – stun grenades fired: Nablus – 18:00, the Israeli Army, firing stun grenades in support of armed Occupation settlers invading the Khirbet Tana area, east of Beit Furik, held up worshippers at the Sheikh Mosque, detaining them and checking their ID cards.
Occupation settler violence: Ramallah – 13:30, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the southern outskirts of al-Mughayir village, terrorising local tent–dwellers. Villagers were able to confront the settlers and prevent them from stealing a flock of sheep.
Armed Occupation settler violence and pastoral sabotage: Tubas – 12:40, three armed settlers assaulted two shepherds in the North Jordan Valley and killed two of their sheep.
Armed Occupation settler violence and injuries: Hebron – 09:45, in Masafer Yatta, armed Occupation settlers beat–up (causing fractures) a 64–year–old man: Aziz Shahdeh Al-Amur and his son,Ahmed (aged 15). They also beat–up and injured one other person, Qusay Aziz Al-Amour, as well as his two sons: Muhammad (aged 17) and Osama.
Raid: Ramallah – 15:30, Israeli Occupation forces raided and patrolled the town of al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya.
Raid – on refugee camp: Ramallah – 23:00, Israeli forces raided and patrolled the al-Am’ari refugee camp.
