Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers of dead and injured

Victims 26–27 March 2025:

25 killed — 82 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes on homes as well as many facilities resulted in the death of 25 residents and wounding of 82 others. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is at least 50,208 with the wounded total now at least at 113,910. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October, 2023 is at least 93 and, that of those injured, is more than 212.

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 3 wounded: Ramallah – 18:00, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed Shuqba village, wounding three people.

Israeli Army attack – 1 youngster wounded: Ramallah – 22:10, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Silwad, wounding a 17-year-old youth: Muhammad Ayoub Hamed.

Israeli Army attack: Ramallah – 22:20, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of Nabi Saleh.

Israeli Army attack – 1 taken prisoner: Jenin – the Israeli Army’s storming of the city and the refugee camp continues, with the taking prisoner of a resident.

Israeli Army attack – 3 wounded: Tulkarem – Israeli troops, still storming the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, opened fire while raiding homes and taking prisoner four people.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Qalqiliya – 18:00, the Israeli military opened fire, from the Annexation Wall, wounding and hospitalising a man: Hamza Fathi Ali Hanina.

Israeli Army attack: Qalqiliya – 02:35, Israeli soldiers, firing live ammunition, stormed the city.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded – 3 taken prisoner: Nablus – 21:20, Israeli Occupation forces, storming the city as well as the Balata refugee camp, wounded two residents and took prisoner six others.

Israeli Army attack – 1 youngster shot and killed: Nablus – 22:00, Israeli forces shot and killed an 18-year-old resident, Ismail Samer Othman Sharfa, near Huwara and removed his body.

Israeli Army attack – 3 minors wounded – another abducted: Hebron – 21:40, the Israeli Army, storming Beit Ummar, shot and wounded three minors, two of whom were identified as Hamza Ruhi Fakhri Akhlil (aged 14) and Malek Badr Ahmed Abu Ayyash (aged 16). Israeli troops also abducted a 15-year-old girl, Ghina Mahmoud Abu Maria, and took prisoner one other resident.

Home invasion: Jenin – 20:45–01:10, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Jalboun and invaded a home.

Home invasion and Occupation: Jenin – 21:55, Israeli forces raided the town of Kafr Rai, invading and Occupying a home, for use as a military post.

Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Israeli Army population–control and mosque violation: Jerusalem – 19:00, Israeli Occupation forces, stationed at the Qalandiya as well as 300 other checkpoints between Jerusalem and Bethlehem, prevented thousands of people, including women, the elderly and children, from arriving at Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate the Night of Power.

Israeli Army water crime – population–control and pastoral sabotage: Tubas – 15:40, Israeli forces, in the Al-Mita area of the North Jordan Valley, cut severed the water pipeline near the area’s spring and warned people not to approach it. They also killed two sheep.

Israeli Army economic sabotage: Hebron – 11:00, the Israeli Army welded shut the doors of the Maswada family’s shops, near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

Israeli Army population–control and mosque violation: Hebron – 10:00, Occupation authorities refused to hand over the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City, with all its halls, spaces and facilities, to the Waqf Administration, as is customary for the celebration of Laylat al-Qadr every year. The handover ceremony of the mosque begins with the Director and Custodians of the mosque, in preparation for its full opening to worshippers on Fridays and Laylat al-Qadr, which is one of the ten days during which the mosque is fully open to worshippers during the month of Ramadan.

Occupation settler stoning and population–control: Jerusalem – 15:00, Israeli Occupation settlers blocked two roads between Hizma and Anata and stoned passing vehicles elsewhere.

Occupation settler stoning: Tubas – 22:55, Israeli settlers invaded a community in the Ein al-Hilweh area of the North Jordan Valley, stoning homes and interfering with livestock shelters.
