Awesome, the NZ Herald catches up to where TDB was last week…
Backlash at inflammatory Brian Tamaki post about Christopher Luxon’s India trip
- Police Minister Mark Mitchell has criticised Brian Tamaki’s post about Prime Minister Christopher Luxon’s recent trip to India.
- The Destiny Church leader posted an inflammatory message on X accusing Luxon of “spiritual surrender”.
- The Prime Minister visited the country last week to deepen ties and push for a free trade deal.
…we covered this story 8 days agoand let’s be honest folks, we were far funnier than NZ Herald…
Lamb of Chris vs Lamb of Christ – Brian Tamaki feels left out of Luxon’s religious love

Look.
I’m no theologian, but Luxon is an Evangelical Prosperity Gospel Christian who believes him having 4 properties (he had 7 but sold 3 after he changed the tax law) shows everyone how much Jesus loves him.
Which is the exact same mutation of Christianity that Bishop Brian Tamaki inhabits.
Jesus wants him to have that gold watch and Motorbikes.
So two evangelical Christians who believe in the same self aggrandising wealth theology are fighting because why now?
Look, I’m not someone who believes in flying invisible magical wizards, B-U-T the Bible is very clear, in Leviticus it says:
The Lamb of Chris will war with the Lamb of Christ to defeat each other as sacrifices
Again, not a Theologian B-U-T if it says they must both fight to the death in a cage match for the little baby Jesus, who are we to deny Jehovah?
This can only be settled with armed combat in the sight of the Virgin Mary.
Again, no Theologian here.
Thoughts and Prayers.
Actually, can we all please laugh at the most awkward thing every filmed in Christendom again please?
Isn’t it so bad?
I still keep watching it and can’t stop laughing.
PS – Dear Brian Tamaki, Jesus told me to tell you he wants you to challenge Chris to a bare knuckle match next Sunday and no you can’t talk to him, he’s busy, he asked me to tell you.
Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

Next election I truely hope our voters take the lessons of other nations and vote with common sense and not with selfish need.
Sadly I’m not optimistic that this will be the case, human nature is not rational and may be our downfall.
People aren’t going to read through the comments and analyze the evidence before they vote. They’ll just vote on what they think at the start.
Vs Debates aren’t really something people want to spend lots of time and effort on.
Looking forward to Modi donning a pui pui when he visits to sign the free trade agreement!
So does India get visiting leaders from foreign countries dressing up in local costume? Is that a trait peculiar to just them?
A trade agreement with a country as large as India is great for the New Zealand economy in the midst of an aggressive China but it does, however, open us up to a different culture which is not a surrender as such but which should, perhaps, be undertaken with caution.
so how is china being agressive ?I dont see them bombing or enabeling others to bomb the country next door .In fact I dont see them attacking any one in the world .
There’s a bunch of Indian military widows might disagree
All these right wing columnists pushing their hero Luxon in India. Luxon isn’t pm of India he is pm of Aotearoa and from where I am sitting he is doing a piss poor job and no amount of hero worship will deny that. A long winter of discontent is coming with more and more people unemployed, homeless and unable to get timely medical care. Luxon has the brain of a gnat he’s got no portfolios,he can’t control peters and Seymour .
