Merciless blitz on defenceless Gaza — growing numbers of dead and injured
Victims 23–24 March 2025:
61 killed — 134 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes on and shelling of homes as well as many facilities resulted in the deaths of 61 residents and wounding of 134 others. Civil Defence crews recovered the bodies of fourmore people from under bomb-site rubble. The total number killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is now at least 50,082, with the total wounded at least 113,408. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 93 and, that of those injured, more than 212.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 3 wounded: Hebron – 20:30, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Dura, wounding three people, two of whom are named: Munther Tawfiq Abu Zneid and Alaa Muhammad Ali Dudin.
Death of youngster: Ramallah – 00:50, an abducted 17-year-old youth, Walid Khaled Al-Basha Hammad, has now died in the Megiddo Prison. He had been incarcerated by the Israeli Occupation since 30 September 2024.
Home invasions: Jerusalem – dawn, Israeli Occupation forces raided Biddu as well as the village of al-Qubeiba and invaded a number of homes.
Home invasions – 3 beaten-up: Salfit – 01:45–05:00, Israeli troops raided the town of Kafr al-Dik and invaded a number of homes, severely beating-up three residents: Nabil Othman Naji, Mazid Samar Othman Naji and Ghassan Ibrahim al-Dik.
Home invasion: Jericho – 23:40, Israeli forces raided the town of al-Auja and searched a house.
Home invasion and seizure by settlers – Israeli Army complicity: Hebron – 18:35, Israeli settlers, supported by the Israeli Army, raided and seized the home of a resident in the Tel Rumeida neighbourhood. The Israeli military remained there to prevent the family from returning home.
Home invasion by settlers: Hebron – Israeli settlers invaded a home, in the Masafer area of Yatta, and vandalised the furniture.
