78 killed — airstrike on UN aid centre
From dawn, 18 March, the Israeli military launched air strikes, shelled and opened gunfire over Gaza, along with shelling also by Israeli Navy gunboats, killing 78 residents. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is now at least 48,981, with the total wounded at least 112,603. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 92 and, that of those injured, more than 212.
One staff member was killed and five other workers were wounded in an airstrike on a UN aid centre in Gaza.

West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 12:00, Israeli Occupation forces, at the Jaba’ checkpoint, opened fire on a man, Wissam Saad Al-Salaymeh, wounding him in the foot.
Israeli Army attack – homes set on fire – abduction: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued their eight weeks of raids on the city as well as the refugee camp, settingfire to a number of houses, abducting a 17-year-old youth, Ayham Mustafa Al-Saadi, and taking prisoner two other residents.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions: Tulkarem – Israeli forces continued raiding the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, opening fire while invading homes.
Israeli Army attack – 1 youngster killed – beatings-up and wounding: Nablus – 00:45, the Israeli Army stormed the city as well as the Askar, Balata and Ein Beit Al-Ma refugee camps, killing a 17-year-old youth, Adi Adel Qatouni, in the Ein Beit Al-Maa refugee camp, as well as wounding one other person: Saber Khalil Abu Daoud. Two other residents, Shawkat Ali Hamdan and Hussein Muhammad Hussein Abu Daoud, were beaten–up by Israeli soldiers. Five more people were taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – 1 youngster and 2 adults wounded: Hebron – 21:05–01:40, Israeli troops stormed the town of Dura, wounding a 17-year-old youth, Muhammad Taha Ismail Darwish, as well as two other residents: Riyad Yusef Muhammad al-Darabi’ and Ahmad Mahmoud Abu Sharar.
Death: Bethlehem – 14:15, Kazem Issa Ibrahim Zawahra, has now died in the Beit Jallah Hospital from wounds sustained more than a year ago.
Home invasion: Ramallah – 07:30, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Turmusaya and searched a house.
Home invasions: Jericho – 23:20–01:05, Israeli forces raided the city and searched three homes.
Home demolished: Jericho – 10:50, the Israeli Army demolished a house, in the Arab al-Maliha community of al-Mo’arajat.
Home invasions: Salfit – 00:20–03:40, Israeli troops raided the city and invaded two houses, one apartment building and an olive press.
Israeli Army population–control and mosque violation: Jerusalem – 10:00, the Israeli Occupation issued an order, banning a resident, Najah Abu Zeina, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for the next six months.
Israeli Army – abduction: Jerusalem – 01:00, Israeli forces abducted a 14-year-old boy, Taher Abu Eid, near the entrance to Anata.
Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Israeli Army – agricultural sabotage: Nablus – 02:00, the Israeli Army bulldozed an area of agricultural land, in the town of Huwara, and felled dozens of olive trees.
Israeli Army – pastoral and economic sabotage: Jericho – 10:50, the Israeli military demolished a shelter for sheep, as well as a solar energy cell building.
Occupation settlement land-grab: Salfit – 15:15, Israeli Occupation settlers installed electricity supply–lines for a new settlement outpost, built on stolen Farkha village land.
Occupation settler stoning: Nablus – 22:10, Israelis, from the Yitzhar Occupation settlement, stoned passing vehicles on the nearby bypass road.
Occupation settler arson – pastoral sabotage: Nablus – 00:50, Israeli settlers invaded the outskirts of al-Badhan village and set fire to a sheep–pen.
Occupation settler land-grab: Jericho – morning, Occupation settlers carried out excavation work in the vicinity of the al-Auja Spring, as part of their establishment of a settlement outpost.
Occupation settler stoning: Bethlehem – 22:45, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded an area, near the village of Khalayel al-Loz, and stoned a number of homes.
Occupation settler terrorism – pastoral sabotage – Israeli Army complicity: Hebron – 17:00, Israeli settlers terrorised shepherds grazing their flocks in the al-Masafer area of Yatta, beating-up and hospitalising one person: Mahmoud Hassan Daoud. Israeli Occupation forces, in support of the settlers, took prisoner four people working on local farmland.
