Geneva – Israel’s systematic and gender-based violence against Palestinians is widespread and amounts to war crimes and crimes against humanity, according to United Nations experts. A new report released by the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and Israel, also concludes that Israel has been responsible for acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 2023.

NO ceasefire in Gaza — growing numbers of dead and injured

7 killed, 26 wounded
Israeli Occupation forces continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip, opening fire and carrying out drone-launched airstrikes, killing 7 residents as well as wounding a further 26. Civil Defence crews retrieved 12 more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged buildings, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 48,543. The total wounded is now at least 111,981. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 92 and, that of those injured, is more than 213.
At least five people were killed by an Israeli air strike on a food distribution centre in Rafah, southern Gaza, run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), which is the main humanitarian agency in Gaza.

West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack: Ramallah –22:30, Israeli Occupation forces fired live ammunition and stun grenades towards people, near al-Nahda School in Beitunya.
Israeli Army attack on city as well as refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli forces continued their storming of the city and the refugee camp.
Israeli Army home invasions in refugee camps – explosives: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued storming the city and the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, opening fire while raiding homes. Israeli forces used explosives to destroy an entrance to the Al-Nasr Mosque before searching it, as well as a café in the Nur Shams refugee camp.
Israeli Army – 1 person killed – 1 child abducted: Nablus – 14:35, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition while storming Salem village, killed a resident, Omar Abdul Hakim Daoud Ishtia, and abducted a 12-year-old boy: Zain Muntaser Mufid Ishtiya.
Israeli Army – 1 wounded – population–control: Nablus – 18:00-21:05, the Israeli military stormed the town of Beita, wounding one resident, Thabet Yousef Hamayel, and interrogating four others.
Home invasion – rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades fired: Jerusalem – 18:30–23:00, Israeli Occupation forces, firing rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades, raided Hizma and searcheda home.
Home invasions: Qalqiliya – 02:10, Israeli forces raided the city and invaded four homes as well as a restaurant.
Home invasions – stun grenades fired: Hebron – 21:05–22:30, Israeli troops, firing stun grenades, raided the village of al-Rihiya and invaded a number of homes.

Israeli Army mosque violation and population–control: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation imposed strict restrictions on entry of worshippers coming from the rest of the West Bank to the city to perform the second Friday prayer of Ramadan at Al-Aqsa Mosque. They allowed men over 55 years old, women over 50 years old and children under the age of 12 to enter. They also imposed restrictions on the entry of other worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque, checking the IDs of young people at the entrances to the Old City and the gates of the mosque, preventing many of them from entering.
Occupation settler population–control: Salfit – 19:30–23:15, a group of settlers, riding tractors on the road between Salfit and Bruqin, prevented residents from passing along the road.
