NO ceasefire in Gaza — growing numbers of dead and injured
Victims 10–11 March 2025:
4 killed, 14 wounded
Israeli Occupation forces continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip, opening fire and killing 4 residents, as well as wounding and injuring a further 14. Civil Defence crews retrieved 32 more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged buildings, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 48,503. The total wounded is now at least 111,927. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 93 and, that of those injured, is more than 214.

Since the escalation of hostilities began in October 2023, Palestinian women in Gaza have endured immense hardships. Representing nearly half of Gaza’s population, women have faced a relentless struggle for survival, with many losing husbands, homes, and access to basic services, according to a new report issued on the eve of International Women’s Day on 8 March by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). About 13,900 women have become widows, who are solely responsible for their families, after losing their primary breadwinner. They now bear the burden of providing for their children amid worsening economic conditions and widespread destruction. According to PCBS, “mothers in [the] Gaza Strip live between daily nightmares and entrenched depression,” and are “struggling to secure their basic needs such as food and water, while being also unable to provide the necessary healthcare for their injured children due to the collapse of Gaza’s health system.” Thousands of Palestinian women have been displaced and are now living in temporary tents after losing their homes.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Ramallah – midnight, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, leaving one resident, Muhammad Yasser Obaid, wounded.
Israeli Army attack – 2 killed – 1 wounded – forced home evacuations: Jenin – Israeli forces, continuing their more than six week storming of the city of Jenin and the refugee camp, launched anti-tank rifle grenades in addition to firing live ammunition, killing two residents: a woman, Faiza Ibrahim Abu Ghali and a man, Ahmed Fathi Ahmed Salah. One other person, Anan Abu Aziz,suffered serious wounding, and yet more families were forced to evacuate their homes in the city.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions – 2 taken prisoner: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, invading homes and taking prisoner two residents.
Israeli Army attack – 5 wounded (4 of them youngsters): Bethlehem – 00:15, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Beit Fajjar, wounding four youngsters, Akram Saud Abdul Aziz (aged 14), Muhammad Yusef Taqatqa (aged 16), Abdul Rahman Zaid Abdul Diriya (aged 17) and Malek Falah Diriya (aged 17), as well as one other person: Muhammad Ahmad Abu Yabes.
Israeli Army attack – 3 wounded: Hebron – 19:05–00:35, the Israeli military, firing live ammunition, raided the town of Dura, wounding three people: Sharif Abdullah Darabi’, Madin Ibrahim Al-Amaira and Rayan Hassan Ghaleb Abu Arqoub.
Home invasions: Ramallah – 13:20, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Beit Sira and invaded a number of homes.
Home invasions – 7 taken prisoner: Qalqiliya – 23:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Azzun and searched several homes, taking prisoner seven residents.
Home invasions – 4 taken prisoner – refugee camps: Nablus – 01:35–04:35, the Israeli Army raided the city as well as the Askar and Balata refugee camps, invading homes and taking prisoner four residents.
Israeli Army vandalism and economic sabotage: Jerusalem – Israeli Occupation forces destroyed fruit and vegetable market stalls, near the entrance to the town of Anata.
Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army – robbery – water crime: Tubas – evening, Israeli forces seized a 3,000–litre water tanker, in the Humsa area of the North Jordan Valley.
