Gaza Strip
No ceasefire in Gaza — growing numbers of dead and injured

Israeli Occupation forces’ continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip opened fire on and wounded 11 returning Palestinians. One person died from serious injuriesand Civil Defence crews retrieved seven more bodies from under bomb-damaged buildings bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 48,405. The total woundedis now at least 111,835. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 94 and, that of those injured, is more than 217.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including even permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 4 wounded: Ramallah – 16:25, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of Shuqba, wounding four residents: Abdul Rahman Atallah Thabet, Amir Hani Awadallah, Muhammad Safi Thabet and Youssef Ahmed Shalash.
Israeli Army attack – 5 taken prisoner: Ramallah – 05:00, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Beit Rima and took prisoner five people.
Israeli Army attack – 1 killed – 1 wounded: Jenin – for two weeks now, the Israeli Army has continued to storm the city as well as the refugee camp, shooting at residents. Another person, Jihad Iyad Alawneh, has been killed at his besieged home and one other has been taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions and evictions: Tulkarem – Israeli troops continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, firing live ammunition while invading homes and evicting residents.

Death: Jenin – the Prisoners’ Affairs Authority has announced the death of a prisoner: Khaled Mahmoud Qassem Abdullah, a 41–year–old resident of the Jenin refugee camp, imprisoned without charge or trial since 9 November 2023.
