Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue yet silence prevails

over growing numbers of dead and injured

5 more killed and 21 wounded

Israeli Occupation forces’ continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip opened fire on, and killed, five returning Palestinians and wounded 21 others. Civil Defence crews retrieved four more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged buildings, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 48,397. The total wounded is now at least111,824. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 94 and, that of those injured, is more than 217.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring Group Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including even permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – baby hospitalised by tear gas: Jenin – for a 12th day Israeli Occupation forces continued to storm the city as well as the refugee camp, firing live ammunition. The invading forces also launched tear gas canisters, which caused the hospitalisation with breathing difficulties, of a three-month-old baby girl.

Israeli Army attack – youngster wounded: Salfit – dawn, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Bidya, wounding a 16-year-old youth: Baraa Ibrahim Fayez Musleh.

Home invasion and home demolition: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli Occupation forces demolished a home, in the village of al-Issawiya.

Home invasion and demolition agricultural sabotage: Jerusalem – morning, Israeli forces demolished a farmer’s home, as well as his farm and a livestock shelter in the village of al-Issawiya,because of its proximity to the Israeli Army’s Camp Anatot.

Home invasion: Jenin – the Israeli Army raided the village of Jalboun and invaded a house.

Home invasions 1 taken prisoner: Nablus – dawn, Israeli soldiers, accompanied by settlers, raided the city and invaded homes, taking prisoner one person.

Home invasion demolition of rest home: Jericho – 12:15, Israeli troops demolished a rest home, near the village of Marj al-Ghazal, as well as a supermarket, livestock shelter underconstruction, a date-processing factory and part of another date-processing facility.

Home invasion: Hebron – 13:30, the Israeli military raided the town of al-Samou and invaded a home.

Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Israeli Army violence: Hebron – 14:00, Israeli Occupation forces beat-up and severely injured three people, Othman Ahmed Awad, Basma Muhammad Awad and Sami Fadl Awad, in east Yatta.

Israeli Army mosque violation and populationcontrol: Hebron – 15:25, Israeli forces raided the Old City Ibrahimi Mosque and assaulted three employees, Hammam Abu Markhia, Ashraf Al-Karaki and Issa Al-Rajabi, and forced them to leave the mosque. The Israeli Army also assumed tight control and prevented anyone, under the age of 27, from entering the mosque to pray.

Occupation settler violence injury: Ramallah – 13:55, Israeli Occupation settlers raided the outskirts of the village of Kharbatha Bani Harith and beatup a resident: Fadl Muhammad Injas.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Tubas – 09:10, Israeli settlers grazed their sheep on wheat and chickpea crops, planted in the al-Farisiya area.

Occupation settler plunder: Nablus – 12:15, Israeli settlers invaded the Khirbet al-Marajem area, south of the village of Duma and stole a number of sheep.

Occupation settler vandalism pastoral sabotage: Hebron – 14:00, stone-throwing Occupation settlers raided the Isfi area, east of Yatta town, injuring livestock and damaging a home as well as a motor vehicle.

Occupation settler vandalism economic sabotage water crime: Hebron – 14:00, stone-throwing Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the Mughayer al-Ubaid area, east of Yatta, and destroyed solar panels, vandalised waterstorage tanks and other property.
