Gaza Strip
Victims 27-28 February 2025:
The total number of people now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is at least 48,365 and, that of those wounded is now 111,780. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 94 and, of those injured, it is more than 219.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded – 14–year–old boy abducted: Ramallah – 22:00–01:05, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition,stormed Beit Rima, wounding one resident and abducting a 14-year-old boy: Baraa Muhammad Aziz Sattouf. One other person was also taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded – refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli forces continued their storming of the city of Jenin as well as the refugeecamp, for the sixth day, shooting and wounding a doctor, Tariq Ziad Abu Hassan, and one other resident: Najum Omar Naeem Abu Dheeb.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions: Jenin – Israeli forces continued their storming of Qabatiya for a fourth day, searching several homes.
Israeli Army attack – home invasions – 1 home set on fire: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued storming the city, as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, and opened fire while raiding homes and setting fire to a house in the Nour Shams refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack – 1 killed – 4 wounded – 1 taken prisoner: Nablus – 09:55–12:10, Israeli troops stormed the Balata refugee camp, shooting dead and removing the body of a resident, Mahmoud Ibrahim Sanaqra, as well as wounding four others: Yaman Muhammad Mashmi, Abdul Jalil Khaled Qutb, Ibrahim Khalil Sanaqra and Jamila Yousef Sanaqra. One other resident was taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack: Nablus – 16:00, the Israeli military stormed the city, firing live ammunition and stun grenades.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded and taken prisoner: Nablus – 16:35, Israeli soldiers, firing live ammunition and stun grenades while storming the town of Qusra, wounded a resident, Ibrahim Yousef Fayez Hassan, who was then taken prisoner.
Home invasions: Nablus – 16:00–19:30, Israeli Occupation forces raided Nablus and invaded homes.
Home invasions – resident beaten–up: Jericho – 13:20-14:30, Israeli forces raided the city, invading houses and beating-up a resident, Moatasem Ahmed Brahma, leaving him with severe injuries.
Home invasions – theft and surveillance: Bethlehem – 15:25, the Israeli Army raided the town of Nahalin, invading homes and seizing surveillance-camera recording devices.
Home invasions: Hebron – 05:00, Israeli troops raided the town of Yatta and invaded a number of houses.
Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army – abduction of youngster: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, at a military checkpoint, abducted a 17-year-old youth: Radwan Muhammad Zaki Hamdan.
Israeli Army – Occupation land-grab: Tubas – Israeli forces issued an order, to seize 521.7 hectares of land in the Jalmat Asaf area of Tammun, for the benefit of the Beqa’ot Occupation settlement.
Israeli Army – destruction and population–control: Bethlehem – the Israeli Army demolished a restaurant as well as a sports facility, at the northern entrance to Nahalin.
Occupation settler violence – pepper-spraying injuries: Jericho – 23:20, Israeli Occupation settlers pepper-sprayed the faces of two people, in the town of al-Auja, causing burns and breathing difficulties. The two victims, Ibrahim Yousef Amin Atiyat and Hisham Yousef Amin Atiyat, were taken immediately to the Medical Services Centre in the village of al-Nuwaima.
Occupation settler land-grab: Hebron – Israeli settlers installed two mobile homes on land near the Taybeh area of Beit Kahil, in order to establish a new settlement outpost.
