Gaza Strip
Victims 22–23 February 2025:
Civil Defence crews have retrieved the bodies of a further ten people from underneath bomb-damaged buildings. The total number killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is at least 48,339. The total wounded is now at least 111,753. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 95 and, that of those injured, more than 221.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli settler attack – home set on fire: Jerusalem – 10:30, armed Israeli Occupation settlers, opening indiscriminate fire, stormed the Bedouin community east of Jaba’ village, setting fire to a house and a vehicle motor vehicle, as well as vandalising other property.
