Patrolling of Napier gang funeral costs police $75,300, 18 arrests made
- Police spent $75,300 on policing a Mongrel Mob tangi in Napier after the gang patch ban was introduced.
- Eighteen arrests were made, seven related to gang insignia and others for various offences.
- Minister for Police Mark Mitchell praised police efforts, but Labour’s Ginny Andersen says police should be focusing their resources on criminal behaviour, not patches.
The Gang Patch Funeral Virtue Signal that enraged locals and caused enormous damage in the community cost $75 300 and arrested 18 people for wearing a gang patch to a funeral.
And this is supposed to be money well spent?
This is bullshit virtue signalling for the Rights racist tough on crime Lynch mob.
If we wanted to do something serious about Organised Crime we would hire 100 Mandarin speaking Police to hunt for the Chinese Shadow Banking rings in Auckland that are creating the banking infrastructure that the 501 syndicates are using to facilitate transactions with South American cartels.
Spending $75 000 to police a gang funeral for gang patches is a fucking joke, it’s not a solution you sleepy hobbits.

Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

Wow $4100 pr patch what an investment .Add to that the cost of shifting 30 extra cops into down town Auckland because Viv Beck was ashamed to see the devistation her right wing mates have caused the lower ranked Kiwis .She is embarrased by the number of homeless there now is so asked her mate Mitchell (king of the pigs) for 30 more coppers to move them on instead of fixing the cause of the problem .
The real community of Opotiki are sick and tired of being used for points scoring by the skin head gang leader and the king of the pigs .I read a peice earlier in the week where the real locals say there is not a gang problem in the town and infact there are only 30 gang members living there at the most .The Mayor ,a former cop knows most of them on a first name basis and says the real problem is lack of police in general and lack of support for the comunity along with low incomes and the poverty that comes with that .
But no money to investigate David Seymour’s ties to pedophiles. Curious
Yes and the hypocrisy of this government calling public services out for wasteful spending.
