Wait? WHAT!

ACT are still playing their tough win crime shtick DESPITE their President being found guilty of historic sex charges and DESPITE this fact being hidden over the election while ACT were playing up their tough on crime crap.

I mean…

This has not aged well

…and who is going to tell Karen Chhour?

The real existential damage Jago has done to ACT is make it’s tough on crime populism a joke.

ACT had their President hidden during the election while they campaigned on tough on crime.

There’s no coming back from that level of gerrymandering hypocrisy.

  1. ACT is just a circus of hypocritical clueless clowns…how much longer will the public tolerate their pathetic idiocy…not much longer..

    .. the unravelling under way..

  2. If the deeds of one member tarnished a Party and made it so they could not speak out then the Greens would have to be quiet about shoplifting or miigrant abuse and Labour could not condemn drunk driving .
No party should be judged by one person’s actions

    • One person’s very serious actions Trevor. A very sleazy crime perpetrated on children. It wasn’t an accident.

The fact that it was all covered up while they campaigned before the election, is what looks hypocritical.
They are very holier than thou. They imagine they can do no wrong. That’s what grates.
They are very quick to judge others and demand resignations etc. Yet they cover up their own misdemeanors and expect us to ignore it. Ably assisted by the bought media of course.

    • You miss the point, intentionally I guess. It is also sad that you see fit to compare shoplifting and driving offences as being comparable to sexual assault.

    • The hypocrisy is in the cover-up. Thetefore your comparison with the Greens and Gharaman is completely bogus. If you have not realised what bad faith, far right lunatics ACT are, you’re just not paying attention.

  3. Really Trev you are sicko this is not the first time, what about the Act member who used dead babies’ identities at the same time crying wolf about crime. And Jagos’ crime has been purposely hidden, and you can’t be hard on crime and allow someone like this to have name suppression and for such a long period of time, it stinks, and you know it Trev.

    • @covid is pa – well said. Not to mention the ongoing attack on Golriz Ghahraman by those with vested interests to do everything they can to villfy not only her but also the political party she was aligned with. There are still uninformed and not very clever stirrers who believe she was guilty of shoplifting at Pak n Save when she hadn’t even reached the check-out. Goodness me. That means every customer at Pak n Save who takes in their own shopping bag, which many customers do, and put selected goods into that bag, are shoplifters even before they reach the checkout!!!

With reference to the creep Jago, Act did everything it could to cover the matter up including Seymour referring the wife of one of the complainants to an employment lawyer!!!! Like Really – an employment lawyer and as the leader of the party, not having the decency or courage to properly advance the wife’s initial complaint.

    • I am not a cheerleader for Act or their members but how can you blame them for name suppression of any person .This is a privilege for powerful people many being sporting heros nothing to do with any party affiliate . Name suppression is granted by the courts and even Google are finding out it is strongly enforced, If you are going back to drag up parties skeletons Taito Fields ex Labour imprisoned, for fraud .

  4. As ever Trevor you completely miss the point.
ACT, not the Greens, is the party that claims to take a tough line on crime and insists on harsh punishments.
    Let me repeat that.
ACT, not the Greens, is the party that claims to take a tough line on crime and insists on harsh punishments.
SO ACT ARE HYPOCRITICAL! They say they want to be tough on crime and shelter criminals.

Also there is some difference between shoplifting( even if done by young, brown skinned, female immigrants who belong to political parties of which you disapprove) and fucking people without their consent( even if done by elderly white, people who belong to political parties of which you are a blind follower).

  5. Then there was that disgusting horrible Act leader Rodney Hide the ‘Perk Buster’ who got busted himself for using taxpayers money for personal airfares & expenses. Act are an abomination and need to be gotten rid of completely from this country’s politics.
