Gaza Strip
Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue — yet silence still prevails over growing numbers of deaths and injuries:
Victims 14–15 February 2025:
Israeli Occupation forces‘ continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip opened fire on and wounded 14 returning Palestinians. Civil Defence crews retrieved the bodies of a further 25 people from under bomb-damaged buildings, bringing the the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 48,264. The total wounded is now at least111,688. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 97 and, that of those injured, is more than 224.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 1 child and 2 adults taken prisoner – home invasions: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces continue to storm the city as well as the refugee camp, opening live–fire towards residents while raiding and searching homes, taking prisoner one child and two adults.
Israeli Army attack – 3 residents killed – home invasions: Tulkarem – Israeli forces, continuing to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, shot and killed three residents while raiding homes. Those killed are: Muhammad Ghassan Abu Abed (aged 17), Jihad Mahmoud Hassan Masharqa and Khaled Mustafa Sharif Amer. The Israeli Army seized the bodies of the three people they had killed in the Nour Shams refugee camp and, at gunpoint, went on to force more families to evacuate their homes and neighbourhoods. The seige on the Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital is being maintained.
Israeli Army attack – teenager killed: Nablus – 20:15–00:15, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed the eastern neighbourhoods of the city, killing a youngster, Adel Ahmed Adel Bashkar(aged 19).
Home invasions and occupation: Bethlehem – 22:55–00:30, Israeli Occupation forces raided Za’tara and invaded a home.
Settler violence – 1 child injured in home invasion: Hebron – 23:10, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the home of Issa Awead, in the Tuba district, east of Yatta, and severely beat-up a child.
Israeli Army assault – severe beating-up: Ramallah – 00:15, a resident of Abu Falah village, Samer Samir Mara, was admitted to the Government Hospital in Ramallah for treatment, as a result of a severe beating-up by Israeli troops at a checkpoint that appeared between Silwad and the village of Yabroud.
Israeli Army population–control: Tulkarem – 20:30, Israeli Occupation forces took prisoner a refugee, Jamal Jamil Mustafa Ahmad, when he reported, as ordered, to Israeli Military Intelligence for interrogation.
Israeli Army population–control: Tulkarem – 23:20, Israeli forces, took prisoner a man, Malek Hussam Abdel Fattah Madi, when he reported, as ordered, to Israeli Military Intelligence for interrogation.
Israeli Army assault – severe beating-up: Nablus – 08:15, the Israeli Army beat-up and hospitalised with severe injuries a man, Naaman Bashar Mansour, near the town of Huwara.
Israeli Army population–control: Jericho – 18:30, Israeli troops detained and terrorised, for a time, two women, Shams Khaled Salem Awatleh and her sister, Shurooq, in the Shalla area of al-Auja, and finally released them at 20:30.
Occupation settlement development: Tubas – evening, Israeli Occupation settlers built a 3km road connecting the main road to their settlement outpost in the Umm al-Jimal area of the North Jordan Valley.
Occupation settler land-grab: Tubas – Israeli Occupation settlers seized an area of land in the Wadi al-Faw district of the North Jordan Valley, fenced it off and planted it with olive trees.
Occupation settler stoning: Nablus – 09:20, Israeli settlers stoned passing vehicles on the main Nablus to Ramallah road, near the village of al-Sawiya.
Occupation settler arson and violence – injuries: Bethlehem – 15:50, a marauding gang of settlers invaded the areas of Al-Hajar, Wadi Al-Abyad and Fateh Sadra, near al-Minya village,assaulting and injuring four residents: Ammar Musa Muhammad Shalalda, Muhammad Omar Shalalda, Fahim Jamil Muhammad Shalalda and Musa Muhammad Abd al-Rahim Shalalda. The settlers also set fire to two motor vehicles, smashing solar panels as well as the windows of other cars.
Occupation settler pastoral sabotage: Hebron – 18:55, Occupation settlers invaded the Birin area, south of Bani Na’im, spraying toxic substances that caused the death of 26 sheep.
Occupation settler land-grab: Hebron – Israeli settlers seized an area of Umm al-Khair village land and planted trees near villagers’ homes, which they also intended to occupy.
Raid – 4 taken prisoner: Jerusalem – dawn, Israeli Occupation forces raided Abu Dis, taking prisoner four people.
Raid: Jerusalem – 12:10, Israeli forces raided and patrolled the town of Hizma.
Raids: Ramallah – 12:45, the Israeli Army, firing stun grenades, raided and patrolled Birzeit as well as the village of al-Zaytoun.
Raid: Ramallah – 02:00–04:50, Israeli troops raided and patrolled the city.
Raid – 4 taken prisoner: Jenin – morning, the Israeli military raided the town of al-Yamoun, taking prisoner four people.
Raid – stun grenades fired: Qalqiliya – 12:30-15:40, Israeli soldiers, firing stun grenades, raided the village of Kafr Qaddum.
Raid – stun grenades fired – 1 taken prisoner:: Nablus – 09:05-15:25, Israeli Occupation forces, firing stun grenades, raided the town of Beita, taking prisoner one person.
