Gaza Strip
Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue — yet silence still prevails over growing numbers of deaths and injuries: 1 killed, 9 wounded.
Victims 11–12 February 2025:
Israeli Occupation forces continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip, opening fire on returning Palestinians, killing one of them and wounding nine others. Another twobodies have been recovered from bomb sites. The total number killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is now at least 48,222 and, of those wounded, it is more than 111,674. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 97 and, that of those injured, it is more than 226.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – home blown–up – 4 taken prisoner – more homes invaded: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces continued their storming of the city and the refugee camp, firing live ammunition, taking prisoner four residents while raiding and searching homes as well as using explosives to to destroy a home.
Israeli Army attack – 4 taken prisoner – families forced to leave their homes: Tubas – Israeli Occupation forces continued their storming of the al-Far’a refugee camp, searching homes, taking prisoner four residents, and forcing many families, at gunpoint, to leave their homes. The Israeli forces finally withdrew at dawn.
Israeli Army attack – 6 taken prisoner – homes invaded: Tulkarem – Israeli forces continued their storming of the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, opening fire while raiding homes and taking prisoner six people. The Thabet Hospital remains under siege.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded – 1 other taken prisoner: Tulkarem – 21:40, the Israeli Army stormed the town of Kafr al-Labad, opening fire on a house while besieging it and wounding a resident: Nabil Moatasem Thaltheen. One other occupant was taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – teenager killed – 10-year-old girl wounded: Hebron – 16:25, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Sa’ir, shooting dead a teenager, Abdullah Murad Hassan Al-Faroukh (aged 19) and wounding a 10-year-old girl, Janat Faisal Sabri Matour, as well as two other people: Mus’ab Muhammad Issa Jabareen and Munther Munjed Issa Jabareen.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Hebron – 02:40, one person was wounded during the storming of al-Dhahiriya, by the Israeli military firing live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets.
Home invasions: Jericho – 09:10–10:40, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of al-Auja and invaded two homes.
Home invasion and demolition in refugee camp – beatings-up – invasion of UNRWA health clinic: Hebron – 02:30, Israeli Occupation forces again raided the al-Arroub refugee camp, taking prisoner four people and severely beating-up three others. Those injured suffered fractures and bruising to the face and limbs, which was treated at a medical centre. Many other people were detained and interrogated, while a health clinic affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), was broken into by Israeli troops who occupied it, for use as an interrogation centre. The Israeli Army also demolished a house during the assault.
Israeli Occupation mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army population–control: Jerusalem – 08:30, Israeli Occupation forces raided the al-Tur neighbourhood, searching for Palestinian curriculum school books, in the process of having them banned and replaced with an Israeli-imposed curriculum.
Israeli Army population–control and robbery: Jerusalem – 08:30, Israeli forces, raided the Headquarters of the Jerusalem Endowment in the al-Tur neighbourhood, confiscating employees’ phones as well as all the computers, besides ordering the Director, and two of his assistants, to report to Israeli Military Intelligence.
Israeli Army vandalism: Ramallah – 08:30, the Israeli Army demolished a house–under– construction, in the village of Deir Birzeit.
Israeli Army population–control: Tubas – the Israeli Army took prisoner an al-Far’a refugee, Zaid Muhammad Dheeb Al-Hamoud, when he reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.
Israeli Army robbery and agricultural sabotage: Tubas – 12:30, Israeli troops seized a tractor belonging to a working Bardala village farmer.
Israeli Army – robbery: Salfit – 17:30, Israeli soldiers, stationed at the Ariel settlement roundabout, robbed two people of the cash they were carrying. The soldiers seized the equivalent of just over $US500 from a Tal village resident, Tamer Al-Salwadi, and 1,000 US dollars, as well as shekels to the value of another $US100, from a Foreign Exchange employee: Fahim Murad Ahmed Ibdah.
Israeli Army – robbery: Salfit – 01:55, Israeli forces, at the Ariel settlement roundabout, again committed robbery – this time seizing the equivalent of $US500 from a cosmetics and tools merchant, Muhammad Ahmed Ibrahim Abu Surur.
Israeli Army – stun grenades fired – population–control: Hebron – 09:50, the Israeli military fired stun grenades and tear gas towards pedestrians attempting to pass through the closed entrance to the town of Idhna.
Israeli Army – stun grenades fired – population–control at funeral: Hebron – 13:15, Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades at mourners attending a funeral, in the Old City’s Karantina Cemetery.
Israeli Occupation mosque violation: Hebron – 13:50, Israeli Occupation forces closed the Ibrahimi Mosque, after expelling its Director.
Occupation settlement development – land-grab: Nablus – 13:45, Israeli Occupation settlers bulldozed farmland, in order to build a settlement road on privately-owned Palestinian land, near the Za’tara Junction checkpoint.
Occupation settlement development – land-grab: Salfit – 18:00, Israeli settlers began building a settlement road, in the Shaab al-Safadi area of Yasuf village.
Occupation settlement development – land-grab: Bethlehem – 13:50, Occupation forces began building a new road on Battir village land, for the Nahal Heletz settlement.
