Gaza Strip
Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue — yet silence prevails over more deaths and injuries:
Victims 8–9 February 2025:
Israeli Occupation forces opened fire on returning Palestinians in Northern Gaza, killing one person. In addition, seven more deceased bodies of Palestinians have been recovered from beneath bomb–sites. Another five wounded people, have sought treatment in hospital. The total number killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is now at least 48,189 and, of those wounded, it is more than 111,640.The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 98 and, that of those injured, it is more than 227.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including even permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack: Jerusalem – 15:20–18:20, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed and patrolled the town of Kafr Aqab.
Israeli Army attack – Red Crescent ambulance damaged and obstructed: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces continue to storm the city and the refugee camp, shooting towards residents as they invade more homes. An Israeli Army vehicle drove into a a Red Crescent ambulance transporting a patient.
Israeli Army attack: Tubas – 05:10–09:30, Israeli forces continued to storm Tamoun, opening indiscriminate fire.
Israeli Army attack – homes invaded – residents forced to evacuate their homes: Tulkarem – 14:20, the Israeli Army stormed the city as well as the refugee camp, firing live ammunition and raiding homes. Six residents were take prisoner and more families were forced to evacuate their homes at gunpoint. Both the Thabet and Al-Isra Hospitals remain under siege.
Israeli Army attack – homes invaded: Tulkarem – 03:15, Israeli forces raided the Nour Shams refugee camp in the city, invading homes and opening fire on people trying to drive to safety.
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded: Nablus – 19:55-21:20, Israeli troops stormed the village of Tal, wounding two residents: Issam Imad Yousef Rayhan and Hussein Ahmed Hussein Al-Hindi.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Hebron – 14:50, the Israeli military stormed the town of Halhul, wounding a resident: Ibrahim Khalil Ali Aql.
Home invasions – 1 resident taken prisoner: Jerusalem – 22:00, Israeli Occupation forces raided the town of Hizma and searched two homes, taking prisoner one resident.
Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – 12:30, the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Omar Walid Bashir, to destroy part of his home in the Jabal al-Mukabir neighbourhood – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
Home invasion and forced personal demolition: Jerusalem – 13:00, the Israeli Occupation forced a resident, Amjad Omar Abu Teir, to destroy part of his home in the village of Umm Tuba – or otherwise be forced to pay an extortionate sum to the Israeli Occupation demolition squads, who would be sent in to do it.
Home invasion: Nablus – 12:45, Israeli forces invaded a house while raiding the town of Asira al-Shamaliya and the village of Naqoura.

Occupation settler stoning: Tubas – 16:10, Israeli Occupation settlers stoned Palestinian homes, in the Ein al-Hilweh area of the North Jordan Valley.
Occupation settler violence – severe beating-up: Tubas – 17:40, in the east of the village of Aqaba, Occupation settlers attacked tent–dwellings and terrorised the occupants, severely beating-upand hospitalising one of the resident: Ali Muhammad Awad.
Occupation settler stoning: Tulkarem – 15:30, Israeli settlers stoned passing vehicles, on a road between the town of Kafr al-Labad and the village of Shufa.
