Oh is this what we are doing now is it?
The comparing released prisoner game?
Hamas-led militants released three gaunt, frail-looking Israeli hostages and Israel freed nearly 200 Palestinian prisoners on Saturday (Sunday NZT) in the latest exchange of a ceasefire agreement that has paused 16 months of war in Gaza.
The hostages’ condition and scenes of Hamas forcing them to speak in a handover ceremony sparked outrage in Israel and could increase pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to extend the ceasefire beyond its current six-week phase.
Netanyahu has signalled he would resume the war, even if that meant leaving dozens of hostages in Hamas captivity.
Let’s play.

There is a grim horror at comparing how Palestinians enter Israeli prisons vs how they leave…

…the IDF have a penchant for torturing Health professionals in detention…
Israel: Palestinian Healthcare Workers Tortured
Israeli forces have arbitrarily detained Palestinian healthcare workers in Gaza since hostilities began in October 2023, deported them to detention facilities in Israel, and allegedly tortured and ill-treated them, Human Rights Watch said today. The detention of healthcare workers in the context of the Israeli military’s repeated attacks on hospitals in Gaza has contributed to the catastrophic degradation of the besieged territory’s healthcare system.
Released doctors, nurses and paramedics described to Human Rights Watch their mistreatment in Israeli custody, including humiliation, beatings, forced stress positions, prolonged cuffing and blindfolding, and denial of medical care. They also reported torture, including rape and sexual abuse by Israeli forces, denial of medical care, and poor detention conditions for the general detainee population.
“The Israeli government’s mistreatment of Palestinian healthcare workers has continued in the shadows and needs to immediately stop,” said Balkees Jarrah, acting Middle East director at Human Rights Watch. “The torture and other ill-treatment of doctors, nurses, and paramedics should be thoroughly investigated and appropriately punished, including by the International Criminal Court (ICC).”
…the IDF sexually torture Palestinians held in detention as a matter of psychological damage to those forced to watch…
Video appears to show IDF soldiers sexually abusing Palestinian detainee
CCTV broadcast by an Israeli television channel allegedly shows IDF soldiers leading away a prisoner before sexually abusing the person behind their shields.
…yet in NZ the focus is where?

…after allowing a genocide like this…

…the West lost any moral high ground it once had.
There is a terrible disconnect between the way we justify our war crimes while criticising everyone else’s.
Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

Israel should be surprised that any hostages are in fact alive after spending the last 18 months of bombing anything that moves .They even executed 3 of their own when they came out of a bombed building holding a white flag .
Yes and all they succeeded in doing is make HAMAS twice as strong than before October 7th.
If that is called winning I would hate to see what losing looks like no matter how the Zionists spin it.
This is the propaganda war.
Israel realised that the release of Israeli hostages looking healthy was disturbing the presented narrative of Jews as victims of Arab savages.
Therefore they seized on the pictures of some released hostages that showed some frailty.
The speed with which mainstream media picked up this version of the story showed the influence that Israel and the USA have over world news presentation.
unbiased, my bum!
Israel should be surprised that any hostages were fed at all, considering that for the past 16 months it has done its best to prevent any food from getting into Gaza. Does Jewish exceptionalism require that Israeli hostages are fed three square meals a day while Palestinian infants are starving to death? Perhaps. But aside from the governments of Israel, the US and New Zealand, the world will have no difficulty seeing that the condition of Israeli prisoners is wholly the work of the State of Israel and its allies.
The funniest thing about the ‘human rights’ losers who say ‘if Hamas can’t feed their prisoners of war, they must release them’ is that they know very well that those prisoners, legitimately taken by the Palestinian military, would have been murdered by the zionists if they had been let go, just like the other three.
They’re lying with an agenda on behalf of a bunch of genocidal pedophiles, and they know very well that their ‘humanitarian’ option would have gotten the terrorists they care about more than the hundreds of thousands murdered by their zionist masters killed.
Ranking starvation images in order: The Sudan, the Holocaust, Palestinian prisoners, released hostages.
By their own admission they were held underground with limited food and medical attention all caused by Israel, you reap what you sow.
Cool. Abduction porn similar to, “I coulda done worse, and anyway, she asked for it”. This is what happens when you sever “self-determination” from its root. Even David Seymour stopped using the term pretty quickly with his TPB. How it ever slipped past the Israelis and whichever version of Islam Gazan’s generally subscribe to is beyond me. Just like a Human Rights lawyer tapping David on the shoulder, maybe Jews and Muslims can tell me what happens when, symbolically, a person over-identifies with “the land”. Must just be the wonderful ability of humans to find opportunities to kill each other. From our point of view, it is just a board game.

….Also their should be some media complaints about out medias dishonest framing ….. ignoring things like this https://www.icc-cpi.int/news/situation-state-palestine-icc-pre-trial-chamber-i-rejects-state-israels-challenges “the Chamber found reasonable grounds to believe that Mr Netanyahu, born on 21 October 1949, Prime Minister of Israel at the time of the relevant conduct, and Mr Gallant, born on 8 November 1958, Minister of Defence of Israel at the time of the alleged conduct, each bear criminal responsibility for the following crimes as co-perpetrators for committing the acts jointly with others: the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare;”
