Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue

Victims 34 February 2025:

Holding onto their positions in the Netzarim and Philadelphi buffer zones as well as the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire on Palestinians returning to the ruins of their homes, wounding six people. Two more died from previouslysustained wounds and another 20 bodies have been recovered from under bomb-damaged property. The total number killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, is now at least 47,540 and, of those wounded, it is more than 111,618. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 97 and, that of those injured, more than 229.

West Bank

Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including even permit holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especiallynegotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – home invasions and forced evacuations: JeninIsraeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city as well as the refugee camp, forcing residentsto evacuate homes in high-rise buildings overlooking the camp. One person was taken prisoner. Israeli troops also continued to invade and search homes in the city and the refugee camp.

Israeli Army attack – infrastructure sabotage: Tubas – 05:10, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Tamoun, opening fire on its main electricity transformer, causing a lengthy power outage. Israeli troops also took prisoner 17 residents and forced several families to evacuate their homes and surrender the keys to them.

Israeli Army home invasions 3-year-old girl shot and wounded severe population control: Tulkarem – 14:20, the Israeli Army stormed the city and the refugee camp, invading homes and wounding a three-year-old girl. The invading soldiers also took prisoner six people and forced several families to evacuate their homes and surrender the keys to them. The Israeli Army maintained its seige over the Thabet and Al-Isra Hospitals.

Home invasion stun grenades fired: Ramallah – evening, Israeli Occupation forces, firing stun grenades, raided the village of Shuqba and invaded a home.

Home invasion 3 children abducted: Ramallah – 02:2507:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Beitunya and abducted three 15-year-old children: Mahmoud Sufyan Nakhleh, Karim Jbeil and Ibrahim Jbeil.

Home invasion 3 more children abducted: Ramallah – 04:3007:30, the Israeli Army raided the Jalazoun refugee camp and abducted three youngsters: Nabil Abu Ahmed (aged 15), Nour Al-Najjar (aged 15) and Salah Al-Tirawi (aged 16). Two other residents were also taken prisoner.

Home invasion: Jenin – dawn, Israeli troops raided the village of Rumana and invaded a house.

Home invasions destruction in refugee camp: Tubas – Israeli troops, continuing to raid the al-Far’a refugee camp, invaded yet more homes, taking prisoner, bulldozing the main market street and destroying more infrastructure.

Home invasion and destruction agricultural sabotage: Salfit – 06:10, Israeli military raided Kafr al-Dik, demolishing a house and two agricultural buildings.

Home invasions: Hebron – 11:30, Israeli soldiers raided the town of Yatta and invaded a number of homes.

Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli settlers, escorted by Occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Palestinian Resistance: Jericho – 06:50, Israeli Occupation forces closed the Tayasir checkpoint to traffic, following an attack by a Palestinian Resistance fighter that wounded a number of soldiers. The Resistance fighter was shot and killed.
