Gaza Strip
Attacks: There are no safe places for the militarily-dominated population in Gaza, who find themselves subjected to airstrikes and other missile attacks on buildings, homes and many essentialfacilities, as well as constant gunfire and invasions by Israeli forces. The Israeli Navy continues to fire missiles, targeting facilities and buildings along the entire Gaza shoreline.
Victims: 59 more people have been killed within the past 48 hours, bringing the total number killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 to at least 45,717. Another 273 have been wounded, bringing that total to 108,856. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 100 and that of those injured is now more than 239.
US spent over $22 billion in weapons for Israel since start of Gaza war
The US has provided over $22 billion [$36.3 Australian billion] worth of direct military assistance to its long-term ally Israel since 7 October last year, when Israel began waging its war against the Gaza Strip, before extending its violence to Lebanon and Syria later. Washington’s military assistance includes aircraft bombs, Apache helicopters, rockets, armoured vehicles, and bunker-busting ammunition, among them, F-35I Adir strike fighters, MK-82 and 84 missiles, SadCat armoured vehicles and Sa’ar 6-class corvettes. The US, despite signing a $38 billion deal with Israel in 2016, signed multiple billion-dollar-worth emergency aid bills throughout the war, exceeding the amount of military supplies usually handed to Israel annually. At least 50 thousand tonnes of weapons were sent to Israel to wage its war in Gaza. 45,541 Palestinians have been killed since, though the death toll is expected to be higher.
Additionally, evidence has pointed to US weapons being used to directly kill Palestinians in the Strip, triggering outrage and condemnation, According to a report on US military expenditures to Israel by Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs. The Biden administration also provided diplomatic support to Israel amid the war, though often times criticised Netanyahu for his use of violence in the Gaza Strip. Caterpillar has also provided D9 bulldozers, which have been used to demolish Palestinian homes in Gaza. These bulldozers are being modified by IAI to be used remotely controlled and unmanned in risky areas. The US has a long history of supplying military assistance to Israel. Between 1946 and before the start of the war in Gaza, $310 billion worth of arms were sent. Figures, however, are expected to be higher, due to the lack of transparency in US military reports. Israel also receives substantial military aid from Germany and the UK.
West Bank

Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including even permit– holders) from entering both the city of Jerusalem as well as Israel, otherwise than for especially–negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack: Qalqiliya – 18:15–22:10, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Farata and opened fire on a passing motor vehicle.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Nablus – 12:35, the Israeli Army opened live-fire on people protesting against Israeli settlements seizing Palestinian land in the Jabal Karm Nimr area of Beita, wounding one person: Suhaib Murad Salama.
Israeli Army attack – 1 child wounded: Nablus – 13:45, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed the town of Beit Furik, wounding an 11-year-old boy, Muhammad Saif Hanani, and an adult:Yazan Mu’ayyad Fawzi Nasasra.
Israeli Army attack – 8 children and 1 adult wounded: Nablus – 20:40-midnight, the Israeli military, firing live ammunition, stormed the Balata refugee camp, killing 18-year-old Muhammad Madhat Amin Abu Amer as well as wounding eight children and an adult. Those wounded are: Layan Walid Ammar Abu Mustafa (aged 3), Yazan Sharif Jamal Ghawani (aged 13), Issam Khamis Kayed Abu Kishk (aged 14), Muhammad Abdul Shaker Hashash (aged 15), Musa Yusuf Hussein Abu Mustafa (aged 16), Muhammad Samir Musa Hashash (aged 16), Fajr Juma Muhammad Abu Asab (aged 16), Tamer Ahmad Mithqal Mustafa (aged 17) and Abdul Latif Nahed Abdul Latif Al-Jamal.
