…says the man who only won 8% of the vote and who is attempting to force a rogue definition of the Treaty and force Māori to accept his renegotiation without any input from them.

Y-e-a-h.

I’m not sure David as the leader of a reactionary hard right pro-money agenda is the best person to lecture on Christian values.

What would Jesus do?

2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.

2 Corinthians 9:11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God.

Galatians 2:10 Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.

Ephesians 4:28  Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.

Jesus seems pretty keen on a capital gains taxes and doesn’t sound like he wants to create loopholes for property speculators.

I don’t think Jesus would cut benefits, abuse the disabled or race bait the way ACT do.

      P.S. 8% is overinflated, so extremists and conspiracy theorists are the only ones terrified.

  3. We the Maori are Tangata Whenua. The people of the land. The first Nations people.
    The Dutch are the second Nations people after Tasman came in 1642.
    The British did not arrive untill 127 years later in 1769 some 500 years after Tangata Whenua.
    The British are therefore the third Nations people.
    Yet White children are still taught that Captain Cook discovered New Zealand.
    If Cook dicovered NZ in 1769 why did he give these lands a Dutch name?
    The Pakeha David Stealmour like White people since 1840 have tried to eradicate history
    and promote the White British from 3rd Nations people to first Nations status.
    So desperate and pitiful.

  8. This argument is like two people mooning one another from distant hilltops. They can’t see or hear each other, and if you or I wander up either of the hills for a smoke it just looks like the poor souls have gone to the other side of coherent. Believe me, this garbled argument won’t make one jot of difference no matter how things turn out.
