7 property Prime Minister takes from beneficiaries to give to his rich mates – this is NZ now

Let’s just step back and appreciate what we have here.

An evangelical right wing Christian who owns 7 properties taking from the poorest amongst us while taking huge privileges from the tax payer himself.

He has the fucking audacity to claim this…

…I’d call him a cunt but he lacks the depth and warmth.

Let’s be very clear, this rich right wing Christian taking from the poor to give $2.9billion in tax loop holes for his mate is what the vast majority of bitter post-Covid voters demanded because Jacinda had the temerity of saving 20 000 lives from a once in a century pandemic.

Here’s the National Party Welfare Policy in two frames…

…this is us now, this cretinous bald fuckwit is what we have become.

The venal self interest for the rich at the expense of the poor should sicken every Egalitarian Kiwi.

This is what we have mutated into, a beige nation of petty bigotries and culture war revenge fantasies masquerading as social policy.

If Beneficiaries were cigarettes, National would have found a way to protect them.

  1. 2.9 billion spent on landlords for no return.
Unemployment climbing under this horrid government and their punitive policies to punish the not so well off.

    • Yes… and right now, Luxon is trying to offload one of his ‘investment properties’,( bought in the workingman’s area of Onehunga), seeking to make a $300,000 tax free profit… without having had to lift a finger .

Who the hell is this moralless, money grubbing, god-botherering, anti-abortionist, deodorant
salesman, and why the hell does he in any way shape or form think that he is capable of running a country??

      • How do you know the profit is tax free? Most likely the property is owned by a trust or company and any profit on the sale is treated as income of the trust/company and will count towards any tax payable.

        • Everyone knows that trusts and shell companies are just tax avoidance schemes… and should be banned.

          They produce nothing..

  2. Baldrick is a prosperity christian who knows exactly what he is doing–the poor are losers that won’t be going to his version of the afterlife–so he just does not care in the slightest about the unnecessarily miserable lives and stress he is inflicting on thousands of vulnerable NZ citizens.

What he doesn’t know is basic benefit rates! He was grilled on several media channels this week and had NO idea of rates or processes like abatement rates. It is quite likely he has never read the WEAG Report or talked to a Beneficiary Advocate. He is Luxury Luxon with 7 luxury pads…

  3. He might be all of the above but he’s still the first Headaplegic prime minister, so credit where it’s due, it must be hard to run a country when you’re paralysed from the neck up.

    • They will keep her in a cage probably, ribbon cutting jobs only.

The GG as far as I know could only sack Baldrick on the say so of King Charles, as in Australia 1975 per Kerr sacking PM Gough Whitlam. There was all sorts of murky background to the Australian situation, which also involved then Prince Charles.

If there was a serious confidence and supply problem between the CoC partners Natzos/Act/NZFirst that would be another matter, and an election could be called and signed off by the GG.

    • She’s a beneficiary but in the upper salaries bracket.so her tax break alone will robaly be more than a beficiariy’s weekly allowance. Once wnen working as a cleaner at Government house I was able to witness the enormous amount spent on governor gemerals and their retinue of servants and hangers on, an amount which paled into insignificance when compared to the money spent on the actual royal visitors. Suggest everyone read Norman Bakers’ revealing book, ‘And what do you do’ available in public libraries. The money (ours) wasted on the upper classes is staggering compared to the pitiful amount given to tho bottom feeders in the UK and in our country.

  4. I sometimes wonder if the Martyn we see on the Working Group is the same Martyn who writes this type of article. WG Martyn seems more balanced and reasoned than keyboard Martyn. WG Martyn knows that the govt will get votes from “Beneficiary Bashing” whereas KB Martyn believes the Nats will get marched from office in the next election for this act alone. Very confusing.

    • Bullshit Gerald Mann my partner gets an extra 3$ a week from nicolas’ taxes policy but our rates, insurance, car rego and everything else has gone up and the so-called improved health systems under this new government is fucked.

  5. National gave back to landlords that which was stolen off them by Labour. They made the grab without putting to the voters .National said they would do the tax refund and were voted in because of it along with other promises which t.have fulfilled.

    • Incorrect. Closing the landlord tax loopholes was part of Labour’s policy statement ahead of the previous election.

      • Thank you P-Man. Always great to give evidence rather than bald faced lies from Trevor.
Yes National have fulfilled some of their policies yet some they have implemented that weren’t promised.
        Landlords had nothing stolen.
Why have National enabled a rebate to landlords if the reason was to support tenants with reduced rents when.the opposite has happened? Because people like Trevor are brainwashed into the great right wing property ponzi scheme where you are financially rewarded for owning a property, fuck me!

    • Nobody’s landlords to be landlords…

The only reason they have chosen to do what they do is to try and make tax free money by leveraging.

It’s a myth to say that they are helping to put a roof over people’s heads who can’t afford a house.

The only reason prices have gone to their insane astronomical levels is because of ‘house flippers’ looking to make quick tax free gains and landlords looking to make tax free capital gains.

Take the tax free gains completely out of the equation for landlords and ‘flippers’ and the housing pyramid scheme will stop overnight and make buying a house for people who actually want to own and live in
      it a more viable proposition

  6. This is very basic divide and rule stuff – the internal enemy that is ruining things for the “hard working taxpayers of NZ who have to get up every morning and go to work” as Luxon put it.
The internal enemy is a collection of electoral minorities that can be targeted financially and politically – in NZ that collection is – the disabled, the unemployed, public servants and Maori.
My suspicion is that National will be comfortable to take this stuff all the way to the next election and at each budget we will hear the same rhetoric about financial mismanagement and beneficiaries and the disabled being profligate spenders.
All of this sends a very clear message to the employed – “get down on your knees because capital is back in charge of things now.” This is what class warfare looks like – buckle up.

  7. Gee lots of people thought it was pretty good time. Paid to hang at home and enjoy the fam. Watching TV, gaming, internet gambling and spending their overseas holiday savings in online house buying bidding wars.
