I don’t know if you’ve flown over the USA from coast to coast. I have many times. It’s only from 30,000ft that you begin to understand the sheer size of the place and the amount of natural resources that they have. Or spent time in places like silicon valley where I lived for a couple of years to understand the strength of their technology. Or spent time in places like New York to understand the scale of it. Perhaps driven through places like New Hampshire, or Florida, or Atlanta or California or Nevada to understand some of the people.
I suspect any claims of the demise of the USA are somewhat premature.
