The racist double standards in Parliament when it comes to the C word

Te Pāti Māori co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer ejected from Parliament for using c-word
Te Pāti Māori’s co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer has been ejected from Parliament after using the c-word.
Politicians have been debating the Move-On orders legislation under urgency.
Ngarewa-Packer admitted she used the word which had been used three times in Parliament and was asked to leave.
Labour’s Willie Jackson also left the chamber after raising an objection then getting in a shouting match with other MPs, prompting Assistant Speaker Maureen Pugh to call for the Sergeant of Arms.
Te Pāti Māori’s MP Oriini Kaipara had been making a speech and used the word “bullcrap”, which prompted Pugh to remind her to “keep the language Parliamentary”.
Green MP Julie Anne Genter then began her speech but NZ First’s Casey Costello raised a point of order, saying Ngarewa-Packer had “used a word which I will not use that begins with C … the fact that it has been used once in this house does not make it common use, I find it particularly offensive and disrespectful to you Madam Speaker.”
She said “it was directed at you, Madam Speaker”.
Ngarewa-Packer then raised her own point, saying “three times the word c— has been used in this House, by the government … so either that word is offensive or bullcrap is”.
She was then asked to sit down and did so, saying, “Oh, hypocrites”.
Pugh said: “And now I personally find that offensive and I’ll ask the member to leave the chamber.”

I’m a political tragic so was watching this live and the entire thing is bullshit!
Casey Costello is a little nark.
The appalling racist double standards generated by Queen of the Karens, Assistant Speaker, Maureen Pugh last night in Parliament is just a reminder that when White Karens are offended, no pearl clutching is too farcical.
Casey Costello smeared Debbie by alleging the use of the C word by Debbie was directed at the Speaker when it clearly was not.
The media didn’t care and took that allegation and spread it.
When a white woman like Brooke Van Velden says the C word, nothing happens. When a Brown Woman says it, the context is lied about, spread by the media and the Brown woman gets thrown from the chamber.
Willie Jackson jumped to Debbie’s defence because the double standard was so racist and he gets thrown out and the Sergeant at Arms gets called!
It’s just a reminder.
When you say the C word as a white, it’s allllllllllllllllllll right.
When you say the c word as a brown, you go down.

The only thing that pisses me off about this is that we have well paid politicians arguing over a swear word. They are all supposedly there to help us out of the cost of living crisis among other things
Good old Simon Bridges. Didn’t he also refer to a Paula Benefit’ in a press conference/stand up?
You can almost hear the Speakers chair breathing a sigh of relief when Maureen’s filling in for the corpulent one.
2 things:
First, Maureen Pugh hasn’t got a clue!
Second, the tobacco lady is a nasty piece of work!
Casey Costello, the pathetic pimp in the playground and M Pugh the ‘teacher’.
Little wonder Simon Bridges call the latter ‘f…..g useless!’ He got that right!
Speaking truth to racist power is costly! Colonial mindsets are clearly on display! I weep for Aotearoa!
