Assange’s team has argued that he could face a prejudicial trial process or the death penalty if extradited…
Monday’s decision did not guarantee protection from extradition, and did not mean the court accepted these arguments, Rothwell said. But there was a victory in the reversal of a March 26 ruling, which might have allowed the extradition.
“The only ‘win’ here for Assange is that he was granted leave to appeal,” said Rothwell [Donald Rothwell, an international law professor at Australian National University, told Al Jazeera.]…

[The decision] resets the game,” said Andreas Takis, a human rights lawyer and president of the Hellenic League for Human Rights, a nongovernmental body.

Bikes are in cars are out, scootpaths are in footpaths are out, batteries are in even if they go on fire, flammable green hydrogen is possible also nuclear, and big money is in, nothing must be done to upset the revenue flow, improvements are out. Licences for cars are in, licences for motorised bicycles are out.

Old people suffering bed sores and bedridden for yonks are in, and choice of death is out. The ridiculous way that gummint managers mismanage the country and a large proportion of people don’t seem to question fully, just get irritated as with a flea bite. Perhaps time to flee!
