Mountain biking tracks can’t be good for the environment especially in these days of weather dumps landslips washouts etc. Just being on a bike instead of in a car is not necesssarily good for the environment at all.

Now it appears that loosened dirt sliding off into rivers and the sea are causing a serious problem. Stop Mountain Biking. Do something that enhances the unfarmed, unhoused land area like planting trees that are of the right species. Stop being self-centered jerks pleasing yourselves. Get off your bikes and go in for cross country running, or something that is suitably dangerous to suit!
