More powers to deport criminal non-citizens, demanding the immigration portfolio and a referendum on capping resident visas at 20,000 are among the raft of immigration policies New Zealand First will take to the election.
The party is announcing 14 policies as part of its immigration platform, which is intended to place higher value on being a New Zealand citizen, make citizenship more difficult to attain and limit visa holders’ rights, the Herald can report exclusively.

Winston has gone full Temu Trump with his ICE inspired hatred towards Permanent Residents and migrants.
It is NOT the migrants fault that they arrive in NZ and the NZ government hasn’t invested in the infrastructure!
He will strip 700 000 Permanent Residents of their voting rights, strip them of Super and will punish them if they have a baby with another mud blood with no baby bonus.
Blaming the migrant is the lowest of the low. Yes mass immigration by both Labour and National has been for lazy GDP growth without the investment into the infrastructure, but you can avoid the degrading of wages with universal migrant unions that ensure domestic wage conditions are protected.
NZ loves to exploit migrant workers and then blame them when the economy turns.

It is reported he is ‘complaining ‘about this and ‘bristling’ about that.
When is he ever doing anything else but complaining and bristling. He talks rot and hates being questioned about what he’s said.
Some people speak in complete sentences and make sense.
Winston delivers quick bursts of word salad and then criticises the person he’s speaking to for not understanding. What on earth is he really saying?
He’s so used to the limelight he finds it hard to be questioned or face skepticism.
He gives an angry retort and all meaning is lost.
In this respect he makes as much sense as his friend in the picture. Almost none.
We do not need him in any position of power. It’s time he retired and let others have a go. He’s hogged the trough for long enough.
