Person dies outside Paul Goldsmithβs Auckland office
A person has died outside of the offices for National Party MPs, including Paul Goldsmith.
In a statement, police said they were called to Epsom in Auckland at 7.50am on Friday after reports of a person being found unresponsive and later pronounced dead.
The death is not believed to be suspicious.
Signage outside the building shows it as the office National MPs Paul Goldsmith, Nancy Lu and Melissa Lee, alongside other businesses.
The Post reports the person is believed to be a rough sleeper.

On a better day he could have got up in the morning and walked away.
That day he didn’t and it shows that he knew the intolerable situation he found himself in, was the fault of this appalling govt.
I think it was a very deliberate choice to be outside Goldsmith’s office. He cleverly made it so that no-one could tell him to move along.
This man has already voted and we mustn’t forget who he didn’t vote for.
If the body’s placement was deliberate, it’s more likely to be the SHAC protest group relocating the body to outside Goldsmith’s office to make a political point.
