They want to rob 700 000 kiwis of their right to vote.
They want baby bonuses for pure blood kiwis.
They want to amputate the Māori Electorates.
They want to open the country up to every type of mining.
They want to allow Commercial Fishing interests dominate our fishing laws.
They want to implement weird culture war revenge fantasies as social policy,
They want to gerrymander the enrolment dates to favour themselves.

AND NOW NZ First want to start setting restrictions on who can even stay for Parliament…
NZ First deputy leader Shane Jones says there is “huge appetite” to introduce new restrictions on who can stand for Parliament.
Under the current law, any New Zealand citizen who is old enough to vote can stand as a candidate. Jones has said NZ First will campaign to change this.
However, neither Jones nor his party confirmed what NZ First’s policy would be.

Requiring an MP to be a naturalised citizen is surely a necessary level of commitment to the nation.
If MPs were required to relinquish dual nationality would that help National and Labour weed out their spy candidates?
I understand Jones’s first policy is that you must be a dual citizen of ‘israel’, or at least swear allegiance to the Epstein entity.
If I had my way only those with all grandparents born inn NZ would be able to vote and be eligible for parliament. No baggage.
My wife is an Australian citizen and first arrived in NZ in 1992 and I encouraged her to get an EU passport so she could spend time with her aging mum before she died .Thier are many reasons NZ residents don’t have NZ citenship.i am a nz citizen .One way Labour can win this election is talk to immigrant community’s and say a Vote for either Nat Act is vote for NZ racist First .Thiers 700 000 votes to be won

I would be eligible to vote under your conditions but I don’t agree with them. While we have allowed too many immigrants in the recent past we should honor our agreement with them although we need to be training our own people as much as possible now.

Any serious NZ political party shouldn’t even consider going down the ‘gumboot fascism’ path – that’s political suicide or it definitely should be! Running a country, just like a successful business, is different but requires skill, total honesty, transparency and fairness! Are any of these necessities part of the make up of this failed, desperate CoC? No, definitely not! It’s all about smugness, knee-jerking and fast-tracking anything contentious so there isn’t time to dig too deeply or to do the job properly. How anyone can even contemplate giving this ghastly CoC another shot at ruining our country, is staggering.
