  1. No, we are not dreaming, but I wish we were! Winston has picked up the ‘Trump affliction’ [uncontrolled insanity]! Where to from here – just follow the Trump road; those on it are doomed to madness and once on, it’s hard to get off it! The gap between sanity and insanity is actually very small – “Sanity and insanity are incredibly close, often separated not by a solid, objective wall but by a fragile and shifting spectrum of perception, emotional control, and societal function”. If you’re willing to risk NZ for a nut-case political party, do so but don’t say you weren’t warned. There is a line and once crossed, it doesn’t give you a second chance. Trump and NZF have crossed it! Luxon is about to! You reap what you sow in this world!

  2. ” Part of me is giddy with excitement at the prospect of NZFirst, ACT and National returning to power because their second term will be a horror show beyond comprehension ”

The only good thing to come out of the coming 2nd term firestorm is that finally a real left wing movement will have to form to confront and provide polices and leadership that speaks and represents many of our people who will be increasingly marginalized , powerless and hostage to the ever increasing plutocracy and corporate exploitation.

The current ineffective political ” left ” that sold out its allegiance to working people once the those nice Labour people became intoxicated and addicted with the benefits of unregulated capitalism should find their rightful home standing with the next evil regime.

The NZLP will no longer stand for anyone apart from the last remnants of the managerial class that donates and makes up the current Labour MP’s who only see a comfy reelection position either as an electorate MP or on the list in order to receive their tax payer corporate perks to feather their nests ( Helen White and others ) while pretending to represent and care about the casualties of their free market capitalist donors.

INMHO I believe the current government will be re elected.

Only then will the conditions be so bad that as in 1916 a new political movement be born.
