A National attack ad accusing Labour of “gaslighting” the public over crime sources a third of its footage from incidents that occurred after the coalition took office rather than during Labour’s term.

National’s new crime policy: commit the crime under National, serve the sentence under Labour.
“We can’t go back,” says National — while literally showing footage from when National was already in government.
At this rate National’s next attack ad will blame Jacinda Ardern for something happening next Tuesday.

Watching shifty god bother Simeon Brown trying to defend this was a study in someone’s face giving away the fact that the words coming out of their mouth are false. It’s like their billboards that contain out right lies. Good Christian Simeon is a fraud.
