Nicky Hager to drop mystery book weeks before election
A mysteriously sparse invitation has revealed investigative journalist Nicky Hager will launch a closely guarded new book just weeks before the election.
Its title is unknown. Its subject is secret. No interviews will be given (though we did try) and no copies will be available until it is unveiled at a book launch on Tuesday.
But the timing and secrecy will inevitably revive memories of Dirty Politics, the bombshell Hager released five weeks before the 2014 general election.
That book exposed links between senior National Party figures and right-wing blogger Cameron Slater, dominated political coverage and forced then-prime minister John Key and members of his government onto the defensive.

Luxon proclaims to not know who Nicki Hagar is or read one of his books which is hardly a surprise given Luxon has lived his life with his head up his ass. I seriously hope the dirt is on Luxon because the shit he flings at the opposition is immature. And if it is on Luxon well then…cry me a river.

At last something to look forward to instead of the mindless crap and inane election tit for tat campaigning.
At least it will take attention away from the farce that is our politics and corrupt system.
Nicky’s book are amongst the most important in depth investigations that have ever been published in this country.
As long as Nicky can take the heat whatever he releases will be worth attention.
