Measuring the vibe of Labour’s launch vs National’s Launch

It was a tale of two launches.
At Labour’s launch the vibe exploded through the live stream.

Many people on the Left are outraged at what this government has done over the last 3 years and they see Labour as essential to stopping that.
Sure Labour are promising very little, but sweet risen zombie Jesus, Labour on its worst day is a 1000 times better than National on their best day.
Over at the National party it was a totally different vibe.

Painfully manufactured, they held the conference in a huge venue and only quarter filled it. That was ALWAYS going to sap the energy of any launch. It’s like a Taxpayers’ Union Te Reo Class.
It made the National launch feel false and empty, which to be fair is their brand.
The first debate is up next week on TVNZ and I think when punters see Luxon square up against Chippy, they won’t like Luxon.
Last election people were post-Covid bitter with Labour, this election people are openly loathing of Luxon.
With a staggering 13% don’t know in the last TVNZ Poll, there is EVERYTHING to fight for.
But on the launches, you would have to say Labour won it hands down.
Independent Media is more important than ever, especially in the lead up to the Election. TDB is the largest Left Wing Blog in NZ and we have been operating for 13 years.
