Luxon Breaks Promise On Sick Leave – Labour
Christopher Luxon has broken his promise to working Kiwis by slashing sick leave and cutting holiday entitlements.
“Another day, another broken promise from a ‘wealthy and sorted’ Prime Minister who is out of touch with the reality of everyday Kiwis’ lives,” Labour’s workplace relations and safety spokesperson Jan Tinetti said.
“Christopher Luxon says he doesn’t need his job, but he’s happy to make life harder for the many Kiwis who need theirs.
“With these changes, almost 600,000 part-time workers will be forced to choose between going to work sick or losing pay. It will also mean Kiwis working extra hours won’t have it reflected in the leave they earn.
“National have scrapped fair pay agreements, cut women’s pay, weakened health and safety laws, and now they’re making life harder for working Kiwis.
“Labour has always stood by workers and will reverse these callous changes.
“While National continues to attack hard working Kiwis’ rights, Labour will keep fighting to protect them,” Jan Tinetti said.
My, Lying Luxon sure is in overdrive, bringing in every petty, spiteful change he can to muddy the waters and destroy our workers! He is so dumb he can’t see the long-term effects of his actions! There isn’t one humane bone in his body although there’s plenty of room for them! Hope his RW enablers are learning how to clean their pools, their homes, weed/prune their gardens, mow their lawns – the list is endless. Luxon isn’t fit for purpose and definitely can’t think outside the square – he is a complete useless waste of space! Thanks again Key! So if Luxon doesn’t need his job and, clearly is not enjoying it unless it has a photo-shoot opportunity, then why can’t he just hop on a plane and go away for good? These ghastly changes will affect almost 600,000 workers’ jobs and if they start going to work ‘sick’ then society as we know it, will totally break down – again no forward thinking? What a tosser!
