  1. Labour Campaign Chair, Kieran McAnulty, has asked National to show ‘exactly where the axe will fall’ if they are re-elected! Surely NZ’ers have a right to know and it won’t be upon their greedy, alreadly very well set up, RW voters! Our health system is in total disarray, with egotist Brown hell bent on privatisation; we have the worse homelessness ever; our education system has been so altered as to now be unrecognisable; basic living costs and food prices have gone through the roof, while the already wealthy have become even more wealthy! What more does this sadistic CoC want? “Putting everything on the chopping block is not responsible government.” Luxon keeps banging on about not bringing in any more taxes! Labour, on the other hand just wants fairness and balance, which means the affluent can start to pay their way since they have done so very well under all the NZ RW governments. NZ doesn’t need more parasites/bludgers, it needs responsible folk who comprehend the need to pay their way, as they should! McAnulty is asking National to ‘come clean before the election as to what they intend to cut!’ So Luxon we wait with bated breath!

    1. Dear Concerned Citizen,

The nation trembles. The sky darkens. Somewhere, a spreadsheet cries.

Labour’s Campaign Chair has dramatically slammed a scroll onto the table and demanded that National reveal “exactly where the axe will fall.”
Not metaphorically — we’re talking full medieval theatre.
Picture a hooded figure, a chopping block, and a faint smell of budget cuts.

Meanwhile, the health system is apparently in such disarray that even the waiting rooms have started waiting. Homelessness is at record levels, education has been rearranged so many times it now resembles a Rubik’s Cube, and basic living costs have ascended to the same altitude as commercial jetliners.

But fear not — the wealthy are doing exceptionally well.
In fact, they’re doing so well that their bank accounts have started developing personalities. (Either that or disappearing to a bank overseas…)

Luxon continues to insist there will be no new taxes, which is very reassuring for anyone who enjoys the thrill of guessing which public service will quietly vanish in the night.
It’s like a reality show: Survivor: Government Departments Edition.

Labour, on the other hand, is calling for “fairness and balance,” which in political language means:
“Someone is about to pay more, and they’re not going to like it.”

McAnulty has stepped forward, cape billowing, demanding National “come clean” before the election.
      The nation leans in.
      The suspense builds.
Somewhere, a sausage roll is dropped in shock.

And so we wait — (bad) breath bated, popcorn ready — for Luxon to reveal the grand list of Things That Shall Be Trimmed, Reduced, Streamlined, Reimagined, or Accidentally Deleted.

      Stay tuned.
      Same bat‑time.
      Same bat‑channel.
      Same election‑year melodrama.
