A leaked video from a Ministry of Education meeting shows staff being told not to put information in writing, so as to avoid anything being released under the Official Information Act (OIA).

We know there are major questions over Erica Stanford’s racist Atlas Network inspired agenda to mutilate public education.
I am immensely supportive of Labour’s announcement on independent education body because we need to get the bloody politicians out of the room and allow the educators, teachers and academics design the best curriculum as opposed to political appointees.
Kids need reading, writing and maths — they don’t need the curriculum rewritten every three years depending on who won the election.
Education should have a lesson plan, not an election cycle!
Erica Stanford’s claims of educational ideological stacking after ideologically stacking education is political hypocrisy at its most inane!
SHE stacked far right Atlas Network appointees to mutilate the curriculum and then has the audacity to claim education boards with actual Teacher as opposed to far right activists is “ideological stacking”…
“Elizabeth Rata has had a significant influence on the direction of education over the last 18 months. So, what she believes is important, especially given those changes have been driven and done by a small group of ideologically aligned people.”
…Rata is a far right educational activist linked to the Atla Network FFS – Erica is accusing Labour of what she is actually doing!
I’ve been commentating on NZ Politics for 31 years and I have never, ever seen an Education Minister turn on the Teachers Union with the level of anger Erica just showed. She said that the Teachers Union was, and I quote, ““scaremongering in defence of mediocrity” and called them, and I quote again, “disgusting”.
On top of that we now have officials specifically manipulating the OIA process so critics can’t find out what new fuckwittery Erica is up to.
Here’s the question to the Right Wing Hate Trolls, if what you are doing is so above board in education, why the Christ are you having to hide it?
This is why the Right Wing Trolls are such bad faith actors, if it was Labour caught out doing this, it would be the end of Western Civilisation, because the Right do it, they smirk and wink.
This rotten Government must go.
