Also great to see other young, strong, well-educated, well-traveled Pacific candidates do so well right across Auckland! Deserving a special mention are: Simon Matafai elected to Whau local board at just 24 years old, Auckland lawyer Reece Autagavaia elected to CMDHB on his first try and at just 30 years old. I feel a new tide coming in – very exciting indeed!
