Luxon apologises as thousands hit by Winter Energy Payment error
The Prime Minister and Social Development Minister have offered an apology to thousands of pensioners who did not receive their Winter Energy Payment this year, after an error in a law change meant people who were supposed to get the payment missed out.

This Government has rammed through 57% of their legislation through under urgency bypassing the normal processes all law is exposed to!
THEY HAVE RAMMED THROUGH HALF THEIR AGENDA UNDER URGENCY WITHOUT DEMOCRATIC SCRUTINY!
THAT is how mistakes like this get made. Why should 15000 pensioners be punished because this Government refused to provide the normal democratic process?
They abuse power and the most vulnerable amongst us pay the price.
