The interesting thing about Maine Democrat Graham Platner whose campaign was torpedoed by the weaponised allegations from the Girlfriends of Christmas past was that Platner was supposed to be redemption for white men in politics. A working class oyster farming former marine suffering PTSD who had charted his addictions and worked through them was a redemption story, instead it became another toxic privilege argument…

…Men are unforgivable now because we are in the age of ghosting, we are in the age of permanent offence and outrage, no one can ever be healed from their past, they must forever be damned.
We have allowed feelings to dominate because rationalism and objectivity are heteronormative white cis males privileges.
The real problem with identity politics is the moment working class men see themselves not as a citizens or a class, but as an identity wrapped in the same grievance as intersectionalism.
Watching the power of Tommy Robison in the UK and Trump in America, it needs to be reiterated and restated that there is a place for Kiwi blokes on the Left.
I appreciate that the woke identity politics activists have done everything to alienate and push men out of the movement, forget them, they’ve all been exiled to Bluesky.
Look at the realities of this terrible Government.
Around 18,000 construction jobs have disappeared in the first two years after the National-led Government took office, an almost 9% contraction in construction employment and the vast majority of those jobs are men.
On top of this, you have had your anger manipulated by culture war bullshit to gloss over that economic impact.
We are citizens before anything else, and we need to vote like citizens, not self interested wounds.

We are lonelier, more depressed and sicker.
Our loneliness, our depression, our sickness are all fomenting the spin of social media hate algorithms which only further polarise our debate into All Tribe and No Village politics.
I think we are a clever ape who has evolved over 300 000 years. Because we have to compete against other sentient and self conscious clever apes and work with them as groups so our intelligence and ability to use tools could change our environment, we have had to bond and understand each other over hundreds of thousands of years of evolution.
When we meet in person, our bodies and brains and taking in millions of different details subconsciously and we are working each other out through facial cues, pheromones, gait, stance, smiles, eye contact, etc etc etc: we have taken those 300 000 years of evolution and replaced that with flat screen interaction where we lose all that unseen evolutionary advantage and instead become brainwashed and trapped in rabbit holes of demented reality.
Flat screen interaction is warping our human capacity to tell what is true and what isn’t because we don’t have that sense of the person in front of us and all the million ways we asses each other in our evolved brain.
We have become an ocean of spite and resentment in an All Tribe No Village politics distorted by social media hate algorithms because 300 000 years of evolution can’t work in a flat screen interaction loneliness.
Turn that flat screen interaction into a platform where we can challenge this empty intimacy!

Why am I posting this here?
In the double tap strike on the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, just before the attack, the UN World Health Organisation in direct contact with the IDF demanded that all Western Dr.s and staffers leave the hospital to attend compulsory training in Gender Based Violence.
The Westerner Drs were not warned that the hospital was about to be bombed.
WTF?
In the middle of a genocide, where men, women and particullarly chidren are being deliberately murdered on an industrial scale, Westerners are ordered out of s hospital about to be bombed, to attend compulsory training on gender based violence?
Gender based violence is a real problem, even in Gaza, but using this as an ploy to remove Western witnesses to a planned war crime couldn’t be more cynical.

The sick irony of using gender based training as a ploy to prevent any Westerners being killed or witnessing a war crime is hard to stomach.
Inside the hospital, Amanda Nasser, who is volunteering with the Canadian medical charity GLIA, is frustrated that she has to leave her work to get in a convoy. All the international medics at Nasser had been told the night before that they must attend mandatory World Health Organisation (WHO) training about gender-based violence (GBV), off campus.
The stifling wards, thick with the smell of death and decay, are over capacity, and so any medic leaving the hospital seems excessive. “Usually we can get [training] through some sort of lesson we can do remotely online,” she recalls. “GBV is a problem happening as well. But obviously we’re in the middle of a genocide.”
Another international GLIA volunteer, anaesthetist Dr Travis Melin, is equally bemused. Today is his last day in Gaza: why would he need to do this training now?
“They usually plan things in advance. What felt funny to us was that all of a sudden, they said, ‘Hey, there’s mandatory training now,'” he remembers….
…I kept saying, ‘No, we have to go back to the hospital now,'” says Amanda.
But the organisers of the training ruled it was too dangerous for the foreigners to return that night, perhaps worried about another strike, perhaps worried the local community might think the internationals knew in advance and had deliberately left.
“I was crying for an hour straight. I was so overwhelmed with emotions, fear, anger.
“It’s very clear what happened, why we were lured out so the hospital could get hit. It felt like a warning: they could do whatever they want.”
The movement of international volunteers should have been coordinated with the Israeli military as part of deconfliction protocol, she adds. The military must have known, she says.
“They follow our every move.”
White Lives Matter (to the IDF)
The Independent spoke to two Israeli whistleblowers, both reservists who served in south Gaza. One who served in a tank unit told The Independent that the nature of the attack showed it was not only “deliberate” but that “this looks like something very planned”….
…shooting a hospital multiple times would have required sign-off at battalion level or higher from the Southern Command. “So many people would need to be involved in the decision-making process to choose this target and this particular firing method,” the first whistleblower said .
The individual said the “special fire method of two tank shells” around 10 minutes after the first attack, meant “they definitely saw the crowd”, bolstering the belief it was an intentional double-tap….
… Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Earshot’s founder, told The Independent they believe it was likely a 120mm M329 tank shell, made by Elbit Systems, and that one of them was set to anti-personnel mode with six submunitions or bomblets, “creating a kind of lethal blast zone”….
… Kevin Jon Heller, a professor of international law at the University of Copenhagen’s Centre for Military Studies, told The Independent after examining all the evidence, a prosecutor could “reasonably conclude” that the perpetrators had committed the war crimes “of intentionally attacking civilians and of launching a disproportionate attack, particularly with regard to the second attack”.
“There was, for example, no attempt to warn the hospital at all,” he continued. “There’s absolutely a duty in International Humanitarian Law to give a warning to the hospital, to give the reasonable time to address whatever the alleged problem is.”
The left has demonised white heterosexual males simply for being what they were born so you reap what you sow.

IDF destroy war graves of Anzac soldiers buried in Gaza.
The corner of the Gaza City cemetery where the soldiers were buried was bulldozed. Soil was churned up into long dirt mounds, headstones were either removed or broken.
The destroyed section included the graves of 20 New Zealand soldiers and two Rarotongan soldiers who died fighting in the world wars.
