#Clip: My Final Word: 9/11, Iraq & the Lies That Changed the World

Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, Martyn looks back at the War on Terror and asks: what did it actually achieve?
9/11 transformed American foreign policy and led to wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and beyond.
Brown University’s Costs of War project estimates that more than 940,000 people have been killed directly in post-9/11 war violence. When researchers include deaths caused indirectly through destroyed infrastructure, disease, hunger and other consequences of war, the estimated toll rises to at least 4.5–4.7 million people.
Then there is Iraq, weapons of mass destruction, Abu Ghraib, Guantánamo Bay and Afghanistan’s eventual return to Taliban rule.
Twenty-five years later, Martyn asks whether the world learned anything from the catastrophic human cost of the War on Terror — particularly as America finds itself fighting another major Middle Eastern war.
What did 25 years of the War on Terror actually accomplish?
In solidarity, the revolution continues.

” Martyn looks back at the War on Terror and asks: what did it actually achieve? ”
The ‘war on terror’ achieved vast and pointless wealth creation for a handful of soulless opportunists via the western-alliance military industrial complex scam. A scam found most active within polite, western countries peddling divisive paranoia, fear and hate. I think we lot. Us lot. The supposed culturally civilized should crop dust the U$A and it’s fawning rich with thousands of tons of MDMA. Oh! How you laugh, right? Well, fuck you and you for your ignorant wee giggles. We humans are motivated by the chemistries within the brain so why not swap those chemistries out for a better, safer chemical recipe? We have nothing left to loose and everything left to gain. Hugs AND drugs people. Hugs AND drugs.
