  1. Israeli reporting presents a very strong case that Zionist Israel, specifically their genocidal / ethnic cleansing PM, had been warned ( repeatedly and from multiple sources ) that the Oct 7th attack was coming,,,, and he let it happen ,,, which was hardly surprising with many people knowing that what occurred did not stack up with logic, but it did stack up with the goal and aim of ethnically cleansing Gaza https://youtu.be/CBOcgYfIfts

Among the mountain of lies were ones regarding Israeli hostages ,,,,, and using the existence of them for genocide / mass murder….. It turns out Hamas offered and wanted to release the civilian ones on day one ,,,, When Israel declined or ignored this offer Blinken / the Usa had it put to them ,,,,,,

“Netanyahu wasn’t the only one who got exposed in this Ha’aretz article. Tony Blinken was outed as well. So Ryan Grim finds this in the article. Ha’aretz reports that Hamas through Qatar conveyed immediately on October 7th that they were willing to return all the civilian hostages for nothing. Their only ask was for a mediator to arrange the exchange and
establish a connection to then negotiate the further release of the soldiers. Israel refused to talk or hear about it. So Qatar reached out to Anthony Blinken to let him know that Hamas was willing to release all the civilian hostages. Blinken told Qatar he didn’t want to hear it” ……. https://youtu.be/7tCB83XPDsM?t=12127

A mountain of lies has been fed through our media and politicians to justify the worst things nations can do https://www.mikehampton.co.uk/p/oct-7-hamas-tells-their-side-of-the?open=false#%C2%A7little-bodies

The right wing as represented by Kiwi Blog support Israels ‘rights’ to do the worst things ,,,, Labour goes tut tut.

  2. The government’s stance on Israel is the government’s stance on Israel, be it under National or Labour. Window dressing bullshyt.

    1. Indeed window dressing bullshit. What has Labour said over the years about the on-going conflict, pretty much zilch, the nervous nellies afraid of being called anti-semitic.

      1. The Labour Party refuses to call what is happening in Gaza a Genocide, they know that by the International genocide treaty signed at the UN in 1948 and by New Zealand law against genocide enacted at Parliament in 1978, that to recognise the genocide in Gaza if they became the government at the end of the year, they would be legally bound by international treaty and New Zealand law to, in the words of the Genocide Convention, “Punish and Prevent, the crime of genocide”.
        With all that entails.
While the National and Labour Parties are quick to defend the ‘International Rule Of Law’ when it comes to Russia and China.
Obeying international and New Zealand law when it comes to the US and Israel is a different matter entirely. They know that they would draw down the wrath of United States, and in particular President Trump, who is very quick to impose tariffs on any country that displeases him.
The US second to China is our biggest trading partner. Any punitive tariffs imposed on this country would send our economy into a tali spin.

The U.S. is currently New Zealand’s second-largest export market (surpassing Australia but trailing China) and represents about 12% to 16% of New Zealand’s total global exports
The New Zealand economy derives NZ$16.8 billion a year from the export of goods and services to the United States.

Taking a stand against genocide would cause hardship and require sacrifice, no doubt about it.
        But…
A world that allows genocide, is not worth living in.
A party that denies genocide, is not worth voting for.
