No, the Russia/Ukraine war started with the US-led overthrow of the 2014, Ukrainian govt and subsequent installation of a US puppet Ukrainian govt, that still exists today. This govt became increasingly hostile to its Russian-identifying citizenry, which eventually led to the most Russian-centered regions breaking away from the Ukraine and that in turn led to war.

Recent events shows the world just how typical it is for the USA to topple governments and install governments friendly to them, thereafter.

There’s always a reason for US meddling, in this case it is to retake control over Russia, therefore exploit for themselves, the trillions and trillions of dollars worth of natural Russian booty, remembering, of course, that the USA had control over Russia back in the 1990’s, after the fall of the USSR. A time when Russia was raped and pillaged to epic levels, a time when the average of Russian men fell to 55…a glorious time that the USA and the collective West, wish to enjoy once again. This is what this is all about. We want those times, we want those riches all to ourselves, once again, while Russia, Russia is the country that is fighting for its very existence, not the Ukraine.

When the power of the collective West is against you, you are the one fighting for your life. Palestine illustrates this point, horrifyingly so. The collective West stands behind Israel and the collective West stands behind Ukraine as well.
