Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki says police have revoked his firearms licence.
In a post on social media on Saturday, the church leader said authorities had told him he could never hold a gun again on Friday.
“After holding a firearms licence for many years without issue, Police have now decided I am no longer a ‘fit and proper person’,” he wrote.
He claimed it was because of his criticism of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I was speaking passionately. I was protesting. I was challenging what I believed needed to be challenged.
“I am now prohibited not only from possessing my own firearms, but from possessing or using a firearm even under the supervision of a licensed firearms holder.
“This follows the temporary suspension issued to me on 30 June and the subsequent submissions made by my lawyer opposing that suspension.”

While the Bish absolutely can criticise attacks on Christian churches by Hindu extremists in India and criticise the cultural practice of child brides (that is being stamped out) WHAT HE CAN NOT DO AND HAS NO JUSTIFICATION WHATSOEVER IN DOING is calling upon his feral Destiny Church Cult Members to start violence by burning down their places of worship in some weird Holy Purge that he’s calling upon.
There is a world of difference between having genuine concerns about fellow Christians being persecuted and cultural practices we find reprehensible, but that in no way shape or form justifies calling on your follower to burn down Indian places of worship here in NZ!
Once you call for political violence, you have removed yourself from the debate because entrance to democracy is an immediate acceptance of not using violence or intimidation as tools.

New Zealand protects freedom of expression through the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990. However, that right is not absolute. Speech that intentionally encourages others to commit violent crimes, or that crosses into criminal threats or counselling offences, can lose legal protection.
There are 3 laws he has broken here:
- Incitement to commit an offence
- Threatening or intimidating behaviour
- Inciting racial disharmony
He can’t call on his religious nutter crew to go burn shit down because they are fucking dumb enough to do it, remember the Library they all stormed because there was drag queen in there?

The Police raiding his home for his guns is just the start, they have no choice but to arrest him for

After the horror in Christchurch, inciting violence against religious minorities is an obscenity.
This isn’t a Free Speech issue, he is inciting his cultists to burn mosques and temples FFS!

It is there primarily to provide luxury funds for Tamaki and his family just like most cults! The saddest thing is most of those who pay HIS way have so very little wealth of their own – so he is also a parasite and thief! Of course if we had a government in at present who embraced principles, values, standards, honesty etc. etc. then we wouldn’t have these horrible issues sprouting up. Using ‘weaponized religion’, by applying sacred words to back political goals, will come back and bite Tamaki and Luxon! Another real reason why this inept CoC needs to be voted out 7/11!
