President Donald Trump has for years told false or unproven stories about what he supposedly saw and did on 9/11 and soon after. As the 25th anniversary of the terror attack approaches, Trump told another story at the White House on Tuesday — in which he claimed to have been carried away by firefighters amid fears of an imminent building collapse at some point after the attack.

New York City released over 170,000 pages of documents revealing officials repeatedly misled residents about the toxic air quality levels after the September 11, 2001, attack on the World Trade Center, just days before the city marks its 25th anniversary.

Once deaths from hunger, disease, destroyed infrastructure and other indirect consequences are included, researchers estimate the toll at between 4.5 and 4.7 million. In Iraq alone, a landmark 2006 Lancet study estimated 655,000 excess deaths in just the first three years after the US-led invasion.

Bin Laden wanted to hurt American civilians because he reasoned they propped up America’s war machine, that is why he targeted the Trade Towers and the Pentagon.

The irony that the CIA provided Bin Laden with guns and support while he fought the Soviets in Afghanistan, only to then turn on America is another great blow back moment for the CIA.

The Weapons of Mass Destruction lie ripped apart a belief in the institution of Democracy.

All America did when it bombed civilians was create a new terrorist from the shattered remains of the bombings.

Afghanistan has fallen back to the Taliban and Trump is locked into a new war with Iran.

War criminals like George W Bush and Tony Blair have never been put on trial.

Death and the American Military Industrial Complex are the only winners.
